No matter what diet you do you are going to get criticised.

Whether you chose to lose weight with meal replacements, count calories, count points, go vegan, do the keto high fat diet, go carnivore or have a fasting routine.

It doesn’t matter what diet you chose, someone is going to criticise your choice!

If you want to be happy in life you truly have to be happy with the decisions that you make and not care what other people think! You will never be able to make everyone happy, so do what works for you and don’t worry about what other people think or say.

It reminds me of this Donkey meme I have seen a few times online…

No matter what you do, people will have something to say against what you do. This is the reality of life, and this is the reason why so many people don’t make progress because they care more about what other people think than doing what is best for them to get the results they desire.

  • The Vegan diet lacks essential nutrients – The vegan lifestyle is becoming very popular – but if you chose this diet you are going to face ridicule from meat eaters and even from other vegans who think they are a “better more ethical” vegan that you!
  • Calories in – Calories Out doesn’t work as all calories are not the same – Some people are so focused on clean eating, and will scoff at you for counting the calories in your 118 calorie Curly Wurly bar while they eat their 393 calorie avocado and sourdough toast.
  • The Carnivore Diet is irresponsible and unhealthy – there is a popular diet that is just eating meat, nothing else, not even vegetables! Some people claim it has cured their autoimmune disease, while others think this is the most ridiculous, unhealthy and irresponsible diet to promote.
  • Keto Diet is bad for your heart – the “keto” diet is ketogenic but it promotes high fat foods make up most of your calories. The “keto diet” normally means that you are having less than 20g carbs and most of your calories come from fats. Because it is so high in fat there is a lot of people who will warn you that you could damage your heart health. (Please Note: The new you plan is different to the keto diet. The new you plan is not high fat, but it is ketogenic because the carbs are around 50g, and because our plan is very low calorie it switches your body to healthy nutritional ketosis.)
  • Fasting is dangerous! – Fasting is becoming more and more mainstream and many people fast for weight loss and health benefits. We could go on and list many other diets and give examples of how you will be ridiculed for choosing it.

No matter what diet you do. Someone will have an opinion AGAINST that diet.At the end of the day. People are always going to have own opinions. And you will never pick a diet that doesn’t get some critics!

The bottom line is weight loss is achieved by a calorie deficit.

Meal replacements make it simple, safe and easy to achieve a calorie deficit and lose weight. And with the added benefits of Ketosis AND fasting benefits – there are so many amazing reasons to choose meal replacements to lose weight!

You don’t need to tell everyone what you are doing. But you need to be strong enough to think FU if someone starts to criticise your choice of diet.
