As a team we are passionate about helping you achieve your goals, but as a family we are unstoppable at being the wind beneath each other’s wings. That is what this group is all about. Being around like minded people, while at the same time not even having to tell your best friend that you are on the diet. When you can share the highs and lows of this amazing journey with a group of people who are going through exactly the same thing it makes it even more special.

Everyone in The New You Plan Secret Slimmers Facebook group is there for the same reason as you – to lose weight by sticking to their total food replacement plan. Everyone cheers everyone else on, celebrates the success of others, and helps and encourages those who are having a hard time. Through the highs and lows, successes and struggles, you will find support, encouragement and a lot of laughs along the way.

The New You Plan Secret Slimmers group is on Facebook, which means that anytime you log in, you will find other people who are available to chat to, ask questions, and share your journey. The group is totally secret, so none of your friends and family will be able to see anything you post or like in this group.  It is because the group is secret that it is so active, as everyone feels able to be themselves and chat away without fear of what other people might think about them being on a diet.

Our community is supported by all our friendly staff and by other customers who are on their journey. You will quickly learn that the products are only half the service that The New You Plan offers. To be successful at a Total Food Replacement Very Low Calorie Diet you need to touch on a couple of key elements. The high quality products are already taken care of – the other side of the plan is the environment where you can develop the skill set and mindset of someone who is going to succeed in their weight loss journey.

If you are ever on the website and there is something you are really unsure about, all you have to do is click the pink box in the bottom left hand side of the screen and our live chat service will start! When you send your message it will be picked on by either Grant, Luke or Tasha. These guys will be able to help you out or even offer you a call if there is something you really need help on. If you message us out of our work hours, rest assured your message will be promptly replied to the next day!

      Little unsure how this weeks, I can see you add meals but not sure which are best for fast wait loss?

        Thank you so much for posting Kelly, all our products are designed to work together to give you the best weight loss possible – therefore it is more just a case of understanding how to do the plan and designing a menu. The first thing is to understand the number of products you have in a day. For people who are over 17 stone they need to have 5 of the meal replacement items per day. For people who are under 17 stone they have 4 meal replacement products per day. The meal replacement items are those labeled as meal replacements or TFR products on the website.

        Within the meal replacement or TFR products you have each day we also suggest limiting the number of meal replacement bars to one per day.

        Aside from this the other thing you need to know is that you can have 2 of the products labeled as snacks on the website each week. The products cannot be used to replace the meals mentioned above and therefore are used as an additional product on days you have them.

        Also you need to drink between 2.5 and 4 l of water per day.

        In terms of a menu plan. You are free to pick and choose within the guidelines above but to give you an idea I have listed some ideas below:

        9am shake or porridge or bar
        12am shake or bar or meal or soup (exclude the bar if you have had one earlier)
        4pm shake or bar or meal or soup (exclude the bar if you have had one earlier)
        7pm shake or bar or meal or soup (exclude the bar if you have had one earlier)

      I was just about to place an order for my second six week plan, but there are no strawberry bars or milk chocolate truffle bars…

        Hi Karen, thank you for your message, please find below the requested information in relation to what you can and cannot drink.
        Drink 2.5 – 4 litres of water steadily throughout the day. Tap water, bottled still water and sparkling water are all
        fine, but NO flavourings and NO slice of lemon!

        Teas and Coffees are included in the water allowance. Teas can be black, white, or green leaf but not from flowers or fruit.

        Milk – it is advised to avoid drinking milk with your tea and coffee, however if you want to have the occasional cup of tea or coffee with milk use skimmed milk only and never exceed 250mls per day. Black is best for Ketosis.

        Artificial Sweeteners in tablet form are allowed in teas and coffees. Do NOT use the powder form of sweetener.

      Hi I am 5days in to the plan.
      Struggling a little I lost 4lb first 2 days but have not lost anything since getting downhearted as put on 0.5lb today 😪
      Feeling constipated and upped my water to 4 lt so is there anything else I can do.

        Hi Debra,

        Well done on your result so far – everyone’s weight loss is different. Given that you are suffering with constipation this may be the cause of your slowed results.
        Also there are many other variants to consider with weight loss, things as small as the time you weigh in at and even moving the scales to a different place on the floor can impact your results. We often advise people to weigh in no more than once a week for this exact reason. Seeing your results go up and down can put you on an emotional rollercoaster.

        In terms of the constipation, you can use, Benefiber & Fybrogel to help, if you cannot find these then any clear, non flavoured fiber supplements are fine. Dulcolax & Sennokot tablets are also perfectly ok.

        Constipation can occur while on our plan due to the restriction in carbs, which means that inadequate fibre intake is the likely cause of your constipation. Boosting your fibre intake through our water flavorings could be another option which could aid with any discomfort and also up your water intake which is only a good thing whilst on plan.

          I’m at the end of 2 weeks weighed in today and not budged since last week.
          My husband ordered 2 week trial and gave up so gave them to me as he didn’t like the taste.
          Really struggling with the food I’m finding the texture and taste unpalatable.
          Thanks for the advice but I’m using what I can and ending the plan.
