FINAL CALL FOR THE NY SUCCESS EXPRESS
This is it… time to put the head down and charge into the final week of the challenge!!! It is week 6 – the last Set for Success Sunday of the year and for those of you still with me – WELL DONE you have smashed this and I am so thoroughly proud to be at the helm of this challenge because of YOU! (In fact there are still a few people that have come over with me from the days of Disco Grant Dracula!) For this reason I want to see a massive push for the final week of this challenge.
We now owe it to ourselves to stay on track and see this through! I am not going to change the theme of today’s challenge as it is probably now more important than ever before as this is where we reinforce the habits that you have learnt over the challenge that will keep you on track until we join up again next year. LETS DO THIS!!!
Align your:
- Plans – Decide at this point what steps your are going to take to make this week happen, pick a problem and deal with it! Click here to download your weekly planner
- Mindset – actively pick up a habit that is going to bring some positivity to your day.
- Feelings – Pick the top 3 reasons why you are going to nail this diet. Do this so that you can balance your emotional needs. For those of you who did this exercise with me last week feel free to stick with the same three reasons for continuity, just make sure you are affirming these reasons.
Today’s Task:
Today’s task in Set for Success Sunday is all about setting yourself up for the next 7 days and now into the new year. I want to hear from you how you are going to set yourself up for nothing short of the best week possible! This time of year means life is going one of two ways – winding up or winding down. Both of which may mean that you need to tweak your tactics to keep steaming ahead.

Full weeks food in bags! Ready to go!
Thursday is Xmas party decided no drinking for me so I have small packages ready in another bag of water flavourings, for my water on the night!
This is not just a loose weight quickly fix! I have now decided that my life is worth more than that bad of chocolate or that glass of wine or that takeaway! I think I have finally shed the “want” for food I know is destructive!
Let’s be seeing the 10’s this week 🙂

I am all set for the week ahead and I intend to S M A S H it! I have lost 17ibs in total and I am nearly in a size 14 which I hope to achieve for my birthday in January. So let’s do it SS!
You will get there Laurel – just focus and keep pushing forward even if you stumble – stumble forward!! 🙂
This week I’m determine to give it 110% past two weeks haven’t been 100% although I’ve still lost just not as much as I know I could have if I’d been 100% so my plan this week is preparation, plan, and focus and most of all be in control – No Excuses!!!!!
You have been here all along Devinia that is 100% in my books. Just keep chipping away at this and find your footing 🙂
I have no set plan just sheer determination to hit my goal of 9st this week coming!!!! I only have 2lbs going by scales today, I am soooo excited it’s unbelievable!!!

Determined to stay on plan and smash another 2lbs this week. Planning to refeed from Wed as christmas party on Sat. That’s going to be harder than the plan of tfr. Reminder to self order more shakes and shop for the appropriate refeed foods. Can’t wait to dress up Sat night………

I am focused on losing as much as I can over the next 2 weeks before I start refeeding for Christmas. I ordered a heap of shakes and some broth to get me through so I am prepared!! I desperately want to get into that next stone bracket before I go away 🙂 x

On RF again from tomorrow as I have 2 Christmas parties this week. From now on it’s a case of maintaining for me. I will still have days of TFR to keep me on track. Have a lovely Sunday everyone. xx

I am super determined for the next week I’ve put all my meals in bags for each day so no need to stop and think , I’ve got a busy week ahead so plenty of water flavourings at the ready and h2o in the car whilst I’m out , my mind is in the right mindset can wait for the next 7 days whoop whoop

Today I reached my New You goal with a loss of 6 stone and 8 pounds , and for the next 7 days I am going to start to re feed / maintain sensibly & just enjoy the New Me 🙂 feeling very happy and proud today .

I hit my goal in 11 weeks of 3.5 stone. Finish for refeed on Friday so to set myself up for this I am setting a goal of 3lb weight loss for this week. This will keep me focused and so determine now, Thank you all for your help you’ve all been amazing keeping me on track. xxx

Car full of bottles of water
Driving to all Christmas meals so not tempted by the wine
And everyone warned that I won’t be eating at meals
It’s gonna be tough but I feel ready!
This sounds very full on Helen, make sure you take note of what it is at the moment that makes you feel ready and keep a focus on this during the week. This may sound odd but there is usually one factor that makes you feel this way – it can be positive or negative but it is what creates this level focus.
Keeping busy as usual and just continuing with what I have been doing, although I plan to drink more first thing in the morning – as I seem to save my water intake for the evening!

I have five pounds to lose to get down into the next stone bracket, which i am determind to reach before xmas. So I am upping my water and plan to do 30 minutes on the exercise bike every morning 🙂
Its my final week of my 12 weeks going to smash it!! want to loose my 3 stone by Xmas so going to up the exercise more – good luck guys 🙂

I have 3 pounds to loose this week to achieve my weight loss total set for the Christmas challenge. I WILL do it and any more is a bonus!
The last few days have been tough as my 6 year old is really challenging at the moment and testing me in every way possible! Its times like this I would slip but I have come too far and I am not going back! I am prepared and I keep reminding myself of my goals. I WILL SURVIVE! 🙂 xx

Plenty of shakes ordered in to keep me going well into the new year , so no excuses ! I plan to stick 100% to plan and just have Christmas Day off , then straight back on, almost 2 1/2. Stones off now , and taking each pound at a time til I reach my goal next year .
And we are certainly going to be here to make sure that happens Jasmin!
I am all set for this week as it is my last week before re-feeding for Christmas on Sunday. I am determined to lose another 4lbs, 100% accountability till Sunday and I will smash it because I’m worth it!!!!!!!!!
After being away at the weekend and trying to be as good as possible but still enjoy myself, I have two more days of refeed before fully back on TFR.
I’ve found that my fav chocs, yes I had some at my friends over the weekend, no longer taste as yummy as they did! Now I know I shouldn’t have eaten them, but on the other hand, I think knowing they aren’t as scrummy will help me not to crave them in future.
My plan is to get back to the plan from Thursday and get set not to be derailed over Xmas.
Medium term, I hope to have finally lost a dress size by February before I need to refeed again. Early I know, but will be having some meals out during Feb. But also to reach the end of Feb without going back up again!
Then I plan to keep to NY for a full 12 weeks before refeeding to give myself the best possible chance of losing another dress size.
This week I made a change!!
I bought the new you shaker, now i CAN PLAN MY COLLEGE DAYS BETTER AND NOT HAVE A BLIP!
I still need to lose weight for my health as my long term goal.
I have reached a goal I didnt even know was missing. I am now much more confident in myself and am not just pretending to be confident! It is an amazing feeling. New You has helped me take back control of my life. Not just with the diet but with all the support that I get that goes along with it.
