10 Commandments to LOVE YOUR BODY

 

Love Commandment 6: Love Your Body

It is easy to get caught up in disliking your body, especially when you are overweight and not feeling your best.
However, there is so much more to your body than just the size of your waist, and knowing how AMAZING you are will help you to RESPECT & LOVE your body NOW.

 

10 AMAZING FACTS about YOU

 

You are phenomenal! There are hundreds of unbelievable facts about your body, but because I cannot possibly list them all here are just a few of my favourites:

 

Hot Stuff!
Your body emits enough heat in 30 minutes to boil water – or enough to cook your TFR Chicken Noodle Curry meal 😉

The Tickle Pickle
It is impossible to tickle yourself – no matter how ticklish you are.  Because your brain predicts the tickle from how your fingers are moving, it responds differently from how it would if someone else was doing the tickling.

Whorl are You?
Humans, apes and koalas are the only animals to have completely unique fingerprints – studies have also suggested that even cloned individuals have unique fingerprints.  Another strange fact? Your tongue print is unique too!

Go the Distance
Your body contains over 60,000 miles of blood vessels.  This means that if you were to lay these out end to end, you would travel more than twice around the earth… wow!

Super Singletons
Every one of us has spent approximately half an hour as just one single cell when the sperm and egg cell first combined.  It’s hard to believe, isn’t it?

Each day your body produces around 300 billion new cells. You make a new skeleton every three months and a new layer of skin every month too!

Your mouth produces 4-8 cups of saliva a day – that’s two swimming pools during your lifetime! Saliva is also incredibly useful: it gives you the ability to taste and swallow, speak and fight bacteria & tooth decay too.

It takes 17 muscles to smile and a whopping 43 to frown. So have a good grin – it will tire you out less, and will also improve your mood

So with all of these amazing things that our bodies do – and more! – it is time to start LOVING yours TODAY!

Show it some respect by treating it well: keep hydrated, get good quality sleep, increase your daily exercise, reduce stress and start your VLCD / TFR journey to get to your healthy BMI to show your body some love.
