How is 2013 going for you? Are you happy with your progress or do you need to put the foot down and make sure you finish this year the way you want to finish it?

Slimming success

Did you start the new year out with great intentions of achieving your dreams and goals.  Lose weight, eat healthy, start exercising, get a new job, get a new car, move house, go on holiday, get a promotion in work, have more romance??  How are you getting on with your goals?  I know some of our secret slimmers are just killing it, not only with their weight loss goals, but with new jobs, new cars and new relationships!  Weight loss is the one goal that when you achieve it can have the most positive impact on all other areas of your life.  Make sure that you don’t let 2013 end without taking control of this goal and making good things happen for you and your health.  Success rarely happens in a straight line, so if you haven’t made the progress you had hoped, don’t feel bad, just look at it as part of your dance, you will get there, and you can take what you have learned to help you create your new you before this year is out.

We are over half way through the year, after the summer the talk will be of the clocks changing, Halloween parties and before you know it that first Christmas advertisement will be on TV. The end of the year will fly in, and if you want to start 2014 in a better place, then you have to make sure that you don’t let time pass you by, you need to get serious about making changes and taking action NOW.  It can be so easy for life just to keep knocking us off course, and taking us in different direction, to get to where you want to be you need to be strong enough to keep getting back on track.

We have 5 months left in 2013, what are you going to do with these 5 months?

Remember the time will pass anyway, it is up to us to put this time to good use.

I was reading a post from one of our lovely secret slimmers called Caroline today… she started the new you plan in April, here is her post….
“I have clothes from a size 8 to 18 and I must have approx 60/70 pairs of jeans in various sizes, some, mainly the smaller sizes have barely, if ever been worn…………Oh Gosh I’m rambling now….well what I wanted to say was…All of the size 10’s fit, not just the odd pair of slight stretch ones but all of them! The thing is I really don’t know how this has happened, I don’t feel like I’ve been on a diet at all……I was almost hysterically laughing at myself, pinching myself to see if I was awake!….Is this a dream, has this really happened?? To all you guys and dolls at The New You plan. Thank you, thank you, thank you…….Dreams can come true with the help of New You!!!!! (I’m still in shock and laughing) xxxxxxxxxxx”
Caroline has been on the new you plan for 3 months. 3 months might seem like a long time when you are day one, but believe me, once you get started and get over the first 21 days, you form new habits, healthier mindset, your self esteem goes through the roof, and before you know it, you are enjoying this exciting transformation.

Caroline has went from a size 18 to a size 10 from April to July. That’s pretty amazing! Life changing, empowering, exciting, wooohooooo material. The feeling that this achievement gives is indescribable in words, but maybe you know that feeling, and maybe you could experience it before this year is out.

Just think that the Christmas party season will be kicking off in December. How amazing would it be for you to give yourself the best Christmas gift of all, a slimmer healthier new you! You will be stepping into 2014 with confidence, happiness and joy in your heart at your achievements and the improvement to your health.

Losing weight, changing your body, thinking differently, making changes…. They do not happen overnight, but it all starts with deciding that this is it, that this time you are committed to making this happen for you.

Once you have made the decision to start, the key is to take it day at a time, and to learn to enjoy the process, make saying NO to temptation an empowering feeling, not one of deprivation.

Everything is to do with your mindset. Believe you can and you will.

Beware of the thief in the street, but be more aware of the theif of your mind, don’t steal away your own dreams with doubts and fear. Be strong, be determined and believe you can. Day at a time you can achieve anything your hearts desire.

Here is another inspirational post from our Secret Slimmers group that I read today, from a lovely lady called Kate who has been on our plan for 25 days 100%….
“I weighed myself the day before I started and havent weighed myself since. Ive finally reached the mindset whereby Im doing this for.. Not to look good for someone else, and not to look slimmer for any particular occasion coming up! This is longterm.. A complete New Me. So Ive avoided the scales, dont want to let them rule/ruin my journey. Im feeling fantastic, and have certainly seen changes. My goal isnt any number, its looking in the mirror and being satisfied and proud. Ill weigh in just before I start refeed so I can let ye know how I got on. Xx”
Get committed to your new you. Even if you have tried and failed a million times in the past. Never give up on your dreams. You have to keep trying, and learning from your mistakes. What is the alternative??  A life of ill health and frustration?  You have to believe that you will master it.

I am always learning and trying to improve, I am always failing to, at almost everything I do, and sometimes I might feel like giving up, but I won’t, I am determined to keep getting back up and dusting myself off and trying again.

Thomas Edison failed 10000 in inventing the light bulb.

Make sure that you don’t give up on letting your light shine.
”I have not failed, I have just found 10,000 that do not work” ~ Thomas Edison
Recommit to your goals for 2013, and let’s make sure that we finish 2013 feeling proud, healthier and sexier!

Noone can do this for us, we have to take responsibility and be stronger than our daily challenges and problems, and whatever excuses or reasons that have stopped us up until this point, we need to take control and not let our problems define us.
It is not what happens to us that is important, what is more important is how we react to what happens to us.
I hope you will be joining us and creating your new you with us over the coming months! 🙂
