Day-4 What’s the catch? Seeing a difference already!

I expected the first 4 days to be a bit of a nightmare – full of cravings, feeling weak, walking the walls and the likes… But, not wanting to tempt fate, I really have had it easy the last 4 days. I have had some mild cravings, usually when I see or smell grub passing or being cooked in the house, but as I was saying in yesterday’s post, each time I felt a bit wobbly, I would go and make tea, or make myself occupied in someway.

My biggest surprise is definitely how good the products are. They are tasty enough to satisfy any cravings, and the choice is decent. I think it really does help. Whenever I feel hungry, I keep trying to push off making something for another 30 minutes. I think this has really helped, because I have found that within the half an hour the phone would ring, or something would happen, and then before I know it an hour or so would pass.

I drank way too much coffee today, probably 5 or 6 cups before 2pm, and got a pounding headache, so I would advise to maybe drink de-caff or something. But I would normally get a headache from drinking that much if I wasn’t on the plan.

Around my eyes are much tighter and less puffy, and I am not sure whether it is my imagination, but the colour in my eyes seems more vivid. I also don’t feel as bloated as I have been.

I am delighted with the plan thus far. It is definitely do-able. Being able to manage getting by is motivation in itself. I think the hardest part for me was getting in the right frame of mind to start the program. I did take some time to make sure I was ready to begin The New You Plan. I had to make a decision whether I really wanted to acheive the results and make the changes to my life. Once my mind was on board and ready everything so much easier. In it simpliest form, I knew there was a problem, and had to decide whether to fix the problem, or ignore it and stay 19 stone 2lbs.

The next few days are going to be a real test for me, as I have some functions to attend and alcohol and food will be all around me, but I will deal with that when it happens.
