Weight Loss is HARD.  To lose weight you NEED TO CUT BACK, you need to SLASH your calorie intake and create a calorie deficit.  This is not easy, no matter what way you go about it.  It takes determination, focus, strength and commitment.

garybeforeafterIf you are overweight, losing weight could save your life.  Gary lost 11stone 6 pounds with the new you plan, and he would agree that losing that weight probably saved his life, at the very least he has added YEARS onto his life, and added more LIFE INTO HIS YEARS.  He has more energy and a zest for life that he didn’t have before.  You can listen to his interview with Julie-Ann and find out more about his inspirational story.

Many people who have a lot of weight to lose feel overwhelmed by the sheer mountain they face, it almost feels impossible.  Total Food Replacement (TFR) offers people who are struggling with their weight loss an opportunity to see fast results and also to finally break those addictions to junk and processed foods that are holding them back from living a healthy lifestyle.

TFR means that you ONLY eat meal replacements, these are nutritionally complete, so you get all the vitamins, minerals, macro nutrients and essential fatty acids that your body needs to be healthy, while encouraging a natural safe fat burning state called KETOSIS.  Ketosis means your body switches its primary fuel source from your food to your fat, so your body is just getting all its energy directly from your fat.  That is why it is important that you are overweight before you start TFR and have a BMI over 25.

If you listen to Gary’s interview, you will hear him explain how he thought he was going to have to really suffer when he started the plan, but it wasn’t like that at all because once ketosis kicked in, the hunger left him, his energy increased and most of all the weight loss results kept spurring him on, he was finally getting rid of all his excess weight and it felt great!

Gary found what worked from him, and he got to his goal, and he is now loving life and determined to maintain his new slim figure and new energy levels.

Many people who are really overweight have failed with conventional diets.  Cutting calories without being in ketosis can make you feel hungry and tired, the results can be slow, and this can be disheartening.  Many people have addictions to certain foods, and this can be extremely hard to break those addictions through conventional dieting.

Health issues and symptoms of obesity that can arise because of obesity include:

  • Type II Diabetes
  • High blood pressure
  • Heart disease
  • Cancer
  • Osteoarthritis of weight – bearing joints
  • Respiratory problems
  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease
  • Infertility, Gestational diabetes, Pre-eclampsia
  • Urinary stress incontinence
  • Menstrual irregularities
  • Depression

If you are obese, it is important that you get to a healthier weight, so that you can minimalise these risks, and get your confidence and zest for life back.

SO WHAT KNIFE DO YOU CHOOSE?

Have you ever seen the movie 127 hours by Danny Boyle? It is about a guy who is out rock climbing and then gets stuck by a rock.  He is in the middle of nowhere and he realises that if he wants to save his life, he will need to cut off his arm.  It is based on a true story, and it actually has a really deep meaning behind it all because when he is stuck in that rock, he realises that this has happened to him because of all the decisions he made leading up to this event. When he finally loses his emotional attachment to his arm, and looks at it as an “it” that he has to get rid off if he wants to live, he says that although it hurt momentum of the euphoria drove him.

So if you were faced with a situation where you needed to cut off your arm to save your life and you had 2 knives to choose from, one sharp knife, or one blunt knife, what knife would you choose?

Would you choose the sharp knife and get it off quickly? OR Would you choose the blunt knife and gnaw away for ages?

TFR is the sharp knife option.  It hurts, but it gets the job done fast, it helps you to get to that place where you can start living again.

YES IT HURTS, BUT the alternative hurts more… if you knuckle down and focus you will be at your goal in a few short weeks or months.

IF you found losing weight through conventional dieting easy, you would not have considered TFR in the first place. Remember WHY you started, remember WHY you want to be slim. A FEW SHORT MONTHS OF FOCUS will give you a spring board to a slim body you have dreaming about, it will boost your confidence, give you time to break old habits that have been holding you back.

FIGHT THROUGH THE RESISTANCE, that voice inside your head that is telling you you cannot do this, is a liar!! YOU CAN DO THIS. It is a head diet, you cannot afford to listen to that voice of doubt, you have to want a healthier lifestyle and slimmer body for yourself SOOO MUCH, so that you can get through the temptation of the weekend.

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, STAY STRONG, THIS SUMMER YOU WILL FEEL SO PROUD OF YOURSELF.
