How to get Super Focused on Your Diet

We all want to be slim, but we can sometimes find it hard to get super focused on the diet, a wee blip here and there can really slow down results and make you feel frustrated and unmotivated.  So let’s take a look at what we can do, to get superfocused and make our dream of being slim this summer come true!

There is PLENTY of time to achieve your weight loss goals in time for the summer.

It is VERY achievable to drop 3/4 dress sizes in 3 months, IF you get SUPER FOCUSED and give YOUR TRANSFORMATION 100% of your effort.

  • If you are a SIZE 22 now (that is the size I was when I started New You!)  you could be a SIZE 14/16 in 3 months time!
  • If you are a SIZE 20 now you could be a SIZE 12/14 in 3 months time!
  • If you are a SIZE 18 now you could be a SIZE 10/12 in 3 months time!
  • If you are a SIZE 16 now you could be a SIZE 8/10 in 3 months time!
  • If you are a SIZE 14 or 12 you should achieve your healthy target in less than 3 months!

Can you imagine yourself 3/4 dress sizes smaller in 3 months??

Really take some time to imagine yourself at your goal clothes size.

Infact go and grab a coffee after you read this blog post, go to your FAVOURITE online fashion store and fill your basket with all the clothes you would be wearing if you were that size (and rich!), this is a great way to get mentally focused on what you can achieve in a few short months.  Get excited about how much of a transformation you an experience!  The more excited you are, the more super focused you will be and the more chances you have of success!

You will be able to wear nicer clothes, and won’t be worrying so much about muffin tops, chunky knees, bingo wings and thunder thighs! Imagine being able to select your summer wardrobe without worrying about your excess weight.  Being slim and healthy opens up so many doors in the fashion stakes.

Do you have some clothes in the back of your wardrobe that you would be wearing if you were at your goal weight?  If so, go and get them, try them on.

Be determined to not spend this summer wishing you had of taken action in April.  In a few short months you can really change so much.  Spend some time really visualising what you can be wearing IF you give this your all.  Imagine yourself going about your daily life looking and feeling great!

Think of how you will feel in the morning when you open your wardrobe to select your clothes for the day, how will you feel when you are putting on your make up, going into work, meeting friends, families and enemies, going on holidays, communions, weddings, BBQs, the caravan, going to pubs & clubs, your church, or whatever and whereever you go!  Imagine going about your daily life looking and feeling GREAT and wearing clothes you REALLY want to wear, and not the clothes that hide you.  Paint a picture in your head that really motivates you!

Get your motivation levels high and then focus on the PROCESS.

The process and habits are what will get you to your goal.  Once you get settled into your new routine you will feel empowered, in control and buzzing.  It WILL be easy.  Self discipline SETS YOU FREE and makes you FEEL GOOD.

Habits You NEED to form:

1.)  Drink 3-5 litres of water everyday.

2.)  Take 3-4 New You Diet Meal replacements everyday.

3.)  Move Everyday!  Commit to leaving the sedentary lifestyle.

4.)  Look your best everyday.

These habits are not going to just magically appear.  You need to plan and organise these around your busy schedule.  You need to make time, find time, do whatever you need to do to make this happen.  Afterall you wouldn’t be reading this blog post if you were not frustrated with your weight and how it makes you feel, so if you want to change how you look and feel you have to change your habits.

How can you plan your day to build these habits into your lifestyle?  Get superfocused on these HABITS, and your transformation will just happen!

  • What do you need to do before you go to bed at night?
  • What do you need to do first thing in the morning?
  • What do you need to do when you get home from work?

Plan out your schedule and get super focused on the process and the habits that you need to form.  

Take this journey day at a time.  Today spend some time planning your transformation.  Set yourself up for an amazing week by getting organised so that it is easier to build these daily habits into your life.
