More about my Week!

Wow how time flies. Can’t believe that we are nearing to the end of month one in 2015.

Hope you are doing great. As some of you know I was sick last week with the flu. I was unable to do an interview with Grant, but glad to say I am back to good health this week.
This week I found good but a little challenging. With the weather being cold and icy and unable to travel out more I found that I had a little ‘cabin fever’. Also after being sick last week I was in the house a lot!

I normally change my packs and products around and mix it up a bit to have variety. As I said on week 1, I usually start the diet plan with hot dinner products as I feel like I am eating food, this is great for week 1 as I am preparing my body for the lower calories and getting it into Ketosis. Then when I have two weeks done I change it around and do shakes only. This works because your system is not as hungry and so you don’t ‘crave’ anything at this stage, because the body is now in Ketosis. I didn’t feel hungry at all. I had my Hazelnut (hot) drink for breakfast (around 12 noon) sipping my water throughout the day, with my favourite Raspberry flavouring of course, and then I have a hot broth, which to me is like a soup, this takes me to teatime. I drink my coffee and tea also through the day and at dinner time I have my veg soup, yum… and for bedtime my lovely hot chocolate. This works fine for me, but obviously you can mix it up for yourselves. When I order next month’s products I may eat hot meals one week and shakes the next or half and half. It so so easy once your body is in Ketosis, people think at the beginning of the diet ‘oh no this is so hard’ but actually once you stick it for one week or until you are in Ketosis (everyone is different), it really works and you don’t feel hungry and the rest is plain sailing. It’s So easy guys.

I had to go to a hotel this week for a work meeting, and I decided to be well prepared. I took my water flavouring (Raspberry obviously!!) and my broth. And I blitzed up my hot chocolate before I left the house, and took it with me. I then asked the lady in the restaurant to heat it up for me. She had no problem doing that. This was great, and it saved me from temptation. For lunch I took my veg soup with me, and they even blitzed up my veg soup for me at the hotel!!! So nice of them. I am never afraid to ask someone to heat up food or add water to broth etc., I just say I am on a special diet and leave it at that, they never mind. And then when I went home in the evening I had my Hazelnut hot drink. So you see I changed around the products for that day to suit the circumstances. The hot soup was better to have at lunch at the hotel rather than at home that evening. As the others at the meeting had soup for their lunch, I felt the same as they did and didn’t feel I was on my diet. So it works. Plan ahead every time and you will win every time.

I was talking with a lady that day too, and she told me a very interesting story. She used to be bullied for her weight in college. Imagine, at College being bullied!! Anyway, the bullies name was Marie. So she decided to call her ‘Fat’ that she had, her bullies’ name!!. So every time she didn’t feel like going for a walk or exercising or anything she would say to herself, ‘Marie wins you won’t go for a walk!!!’ Marie being her bullies name triggered her to not let ‘Marie’ win so she went for that walk or swim or whatever ‘Marie’ said she could not do. But because she called her FAT Marie she mentally thought of her bully but won the fight against her own FAT. She did everything the opposite that ‘Marie’ would say to her!! It worked. So mentally attitude is very important here.

To name your FAT with the same name as the person who hurt you or bullied you just makes you want to succeed every time. As you lose the surplus fat you gradually lose the bully who was Marie disappears too!! Amazing

Anyway guys I hope these tips help you and you are all achieving your goals. I decided to book myself a holiday to Paris for end of April (for four days!) which should be the end of my final weight loss goal. So go and make yourselves some mini goals to keep you really focused. Until next week, I wish you all well and strong and positive thoughts. We can all do this!
