Decided to take a break a few days early…

It is recommended to take a break from a VLCD / TFR diet after 12 weeks, in 4 days I will be on my 12th week and was due to take a break, but I have decided to take a break a few days early.  I am not going to see my Mum for a few weeks, so we all went out last night to a restaurant and I decided to have a small meal, I opted for a small greek salad (lettuce, olive, feta cheese, red onion) and a small portion of seabass (white fish).  I drank sparkling water.

This morning I had my shake as normal, and I had another shake for my lunch, and this afternoon I had a peanut crunch bar, this evening I had a small skinless chicken breast with a few pieces of brocolli and cauliflower and a few mushrooms cooked in water.

I will be aiming to have between 800-1000 calories per day for the next 2 weeks, and then I will be back on Total Food Replacement until June.

I am looking forward to having a short break from total food replacement, I will still be taking my 3 products everyday and then adding a small healthy evening meal and maybe a couple of healthy snacks.   Keeping taking the new you diet meal replacments will keep me focused that I am still on the plan, and will also make it easier for me to get back into TFR in a couple of weeks time.

I am really going to go for it between now and June, and intend to start a proper structured exercise routine next week.  I am going to map out a plan this week to start on Monday, so I will keep the blog up to date with my progress on my exercise.  I am also trying to talk myself into starting a video blog like Hannah is doing on youtube.  I don’t know if I am brave enough to do it, I know I want to do it when I get to my goal, but a big part of me is trying to convince myself to start now, and record myself losing the next 3 stone, and then record my maintaining journey.

I will keep you posted on what I am eating during this 2 week break, but basically I am sticking to 3-4 new you diet meal replacements per day with a low carb, low calorie, low fat evening meal.  Aiming for calorie intake of 800-1000 calories per day.

Wish me luck, and let me know what you think about doing the video!! 🙂

Love,

Julz xx
