How does it work

How does it work

The New You Plan is a simple, easy to follow diet, which promotes safe, fast weight loss due to its ketogenic effects. In following our Total Food Replacement (TFR) plan, customers report increased energy and suppressed hunger, making it the trusted diet plan of choice for over 60,000 people.*

The New You Plan is a meal replacement diet, or total food replacement diet. This means that our meals and snacks can be used to completely replace conventional food. If you are under 17 stone, simply consume 4 of our meals per day, and if you are over 17 stone, this increases to 5 per day, and watch as those inches melt away!

How does the New You Plan work

With over 35 meals to choose from, you can select any combination of our meal replacements, but we do recommend limiting Bars to 1 per day, as this can have a laxative effect for some customers. In addition to this, you can also enjoy 2-3 of our ketosis friendly snacks each week, which are used in addition to your meal replacement packs.  The snacks are great for when you fancy a sweet treat with none of the guilt!

NOTE: Wafers and peanut bars are 2/3 times per week and crisps are every day if you wish (but not on the same day as a wafer).

For example, if you do choose to have one of our snacks, on that day you would be having a total of 5 products if you are under 17 stone which is as follows:

 4 meal replacements + 1 snack

Create a menu that suits you! Check out just a small number of options available:

How The New You Plan works

All our meals are nutritionally complete meaning your body will get 100% of the RDAs that it needs, with a specially controlled count, typically ranging from 600-800 calories per day. As The New You Plan is a very low-calorie diet, your body will be in the optimum range in order to lose weight safely and rapidly.

In addition to this, our products are specially designed to be ketogenic, a process (called ketosis) in which the sugars and carbohydrates are restricted so that your body will switch its primary fuel source from glucose to its fat for energy. In doing this, your body becomes a fat burning machine! This means that you will lose weight safely and rapidly and experience the many benefits of ketosis.

Desperate to lose weight but funds are very tight (unemployed). What is the cheapest weekly package I could order to try please?

    • Author gravatar

      Hi,
What do you add to mix the shakes – I have an intolerance to milk, so can you mix the shakes with coconut or almond milk?

Also I read in one of your blogs that you do a 5:2 plan!

Could you send me details please.

      Many thanks in advance
      Louise 😀

      • Author gravatar

        Hi Louise,

Thank you so much for the message 🙂 In terms of the shakes these are made up with water – however they do have powdered milk in them. We do sadly say that this plan is not suitable for anyone that has an allergy to lactose, milk or soya.

In terms of the 5:2 plan this is also called our FRESH FOCUS diet. This suits people who for medical or lifestyle reasons cannot do FAST FOCUS every day of the week, but they could manage it at least 2 days a week. This type of meal plan is also called intermittent fasting and comes with reams of benefits, not only weight loss, but improved cell regeneration, improved health, and anti aging benefits. We recommend on non fast days that you eat FRESH healthy foods and avoid processed carbs.

I hope this helps and if you have any further questions please feel free to email me on [email protected]

Hi, please can you email me what the diet plan actually is. If I’m understanding it correctly it’s 4 meal replacements a day and a bar as I am under 17 stone. Am I not allowed to have and other sbacks if I get hungry like fresh fruit or raw vegetables.
      Your help is much appreciated.

      Many thanks

      Karen

Looking to start the New You diet plan, I would like to try it for one week. Getting confused about how this plan is suppose to work. Please explain.

      • Author gravatar

Hi Naina 🙂 thank you so much much for the message. I would love to help get you started. The plan is both very low calorie and ketogenic as explained in the blog. This means on average day you would have 600 calories which is going to ensure you lose weight while the fact the products are nutritionally complete means that you get all the valuable nutrition your body needs. The ketogenic part of the plan ensures that your body is being fuelled in such a way that you turn into a fat burning machine as you turn to fat for your primary source of energy. In terms of placing your first order, here is a quick guide on how to get started:
the first thing is to understand the number of products you have in a day. For people who are over 17 stone they need to have 5 of the meal replacement items per day. For people who are under 17 stone they have 4 meal replacement products per day. The meal replacement items are those labeled as meal replacements or TFR products on the website.

Within the meal replacement or TFR products you have each day we also suggest limiting the number of meal replacement bars to one per day.

Aside from this the other thing you need to know is that you can have 2 of the products labeled as snacks on the website each week. The products cannot be used to replace the meals mentioned above and therefore are used as an additional product on days you have them.

Also you need to drink between 2.5 and 4 l of water per day.

In terms of a menu plan. You are free to pick and choose within the guidelines above but to give you an idea I have listed some ideas below:

9am shake or porridge or bar
12am shake or bar or meal or soup (exclude the bar if you have had one earlier)
4pm shake or bar or meal or soup (exclude the bar if you have had one earlier)
7pm shake or bar or meal or soup (exclude the bar if you have had one earlier)

Please email me on [email protected] if you need any help placing your first order 🙂

      Hi
I have just received my first 4 week pack of the new you plan and will be starting tomorrow.
Are you able to supplement the water for skimmed milk for the porridge or does it need to be water.
      Thanks

      • Author gravatar

Hi Kate, thank you so much for the post. Good luck I am sure you are going to smash it! In terms of your question here we do say that customers can have up to 250 mil of skimmed milk per day which you can use either with your products or for tea and coffee. If you need any further help please feel free to email me on [email protected]. Good luck Kate 😀

Can you please explain how I’m not going to feel super hungry on such limited calories especially as I walk 7-9 miles per day

    • Author gravatar

Please can you tell me if I can water flavourings every day and how much? Also how do the peach and pineapple fat burning drinks work? I understand I am to have four TFR products a day and limit the bars to one daily within this number. In addition to this I may as an extra have a snack twice a week is this correct? I am to drink between 2.5 and 4 litres of water per day but is tea and coffee and artificial sweeteners restricted daily or not? Can I have a day of say three shakes and one meal? Thank you Arlene

    • Author gravatar

      Hi

Just ordered the TFR plan and I am under 17 stone but want to confirm that I can have 250ml of skimmed milk? I will drink up to 4 litres of water each day.. is tea/coffee ok what about fruit teas, no added sugar squash for my water?

      Thanks

      Christina

      • Author gravatar

Hi Christina, thanks for posting to the blog.

In response to your first question I will break down all that you can and cannot drink on plan – Drink 2.5 – 4 litres of water steadily throughout the day. Tap water, bottled still water and sparkling water are all fine, but NO flavourings other than those purchased on our site and NO slice of lemon! The reason you cannot have the sugar free squash is because there can be acids and flavourings that can both knock you out of ketosis and that can also create cravings

Teas and Coffees are included in the water allowance. Teas can be black, white, or green leaf but not from flowers or fruit.

Milk – it is advised to avoid drinking milk with your tea and coffee, however if you want to have the occasional cup of tea or coffee with milk use skimmed milk only and never exceed 250mls per day. Black is best for Ketosis.

Artificial Sweeteners in tablet form are allowed in teas and coffees. Do NOT use the powder form of sweetener.

    • Author gravatar

Hi I’ve been looking at the new you plan to lose weight, can you consume any alcohol on say a special night or as on the lipotrim it is totally forbidden? . I’m looking at Exante also but this one looks a lot more choice .

      • Author gravatar

        Hi Caroline,
Thank you for your comment, it is lovely to hear from you. We have a wide range of great tasting products, it doesn’t even feel like a diet as they taste so good. With regards to your question about alcohol, this is not allowed on the plan. If you have any further questions about the plan, we will be very happy to help and you can email us on [email protected].
        Best Wishes

Hi, if I have 4 TFR shakes a day, will it still work? I am under 17 stone. Thanks.

      • Author gravatar

        Hi Jordan,

Thank you so much for your inquiry, yes the plan will work if you choose to do all shakes though it may not provide you with a variety of sweet and savoury tastes and textures which could make your diet less interesting. For this reason we recommend a variety of products from our range of meals and snacks.

If you have any questions and still want to know more please check out our getting started page which goes into detail further. If you want to reach out and contact us our contact details are below and we would love to have a chat with you. click here: http://bit.ly/1UbWW2w

Welcome and good luck on the plan.

I just received my 21 day plan but didnt receive my welcome pack when my box arrived

    • Author gravatar

Hi, am an ex S&S member and am wondering if you can bulk up the evening meal with steamed free vegetables like mushrooms, asparagus, white cabbage, asparagus etc. In S&S we were allowed 200g per day. Will it be okay if I continue doing this with the savoury meals?
Let me Know as I find the added veg used to make my stomach 100% regular which is now a problem even with drinking ± 3 L of water daily.

      thanks
      Anabela

Hi can I take ginger shot on the diet each day

    • Author gravatar

Hi, I have just received the 21day pack, but there doesn’t seem to be any welcome pack, or guide on what is what. It would be useful for some sort of examples of what to have each day, and how the snacks etc work with the 21 day pack.

    • Author gravatar

I really think you should send full written instructions with each persons first pack that’s sent out.
I’ve only just found these instructions today after eating your Mel’s for the last two weeks !
I’ve been doing it wrong and wasted two weeks of meals.😩
