This is a very inspirational quote which really sends a message to the reader, that if what you are doing is not giving you a real challenge then you most likely are not going to change!  If you really want to create a NEW YOU, then that means you will need to challenge yourself, and make real changes, but positive change and transformation is an exciting thing!!
This can relate to you trying to lose that weight you always wanted to lose. If you are not up for really giving the diet a go and do not have the drive and motivation to challenge it face on then alternately it will not change you.  If you have listened to Niall’s interview, his number one tip is to “DO THE DIET, DON’T TRY THE DIET”.  When you have this mindset to face your challenges FACE ON, and be strong and never give up you can achieve anything.
Here are 4 Tips that can help along the path to make positive changes in your life, so that you can create your new you and enjoy a slim healthy lifestyle in the LONG TERM 🙂
  1. Get rid of your BIG clothes – This gets rid of the safety net of having bigger clothes if you gain the weight back.  When you lose weight you have to have the mind set that you will not gain it back.  If you don’t, you are allowing opportunities to go back to your old life-style. Keep one pair of jeans that you wore once, to remind you that you will not have to fit into them again and this will motivate you a lot.
  2. Take Pictures along the way – If you take a picture before you start to diet this can let you see what you once looked like and how you want to drop those jean sizes. Carry it with you, or save it into your phone, to remind yourself what you once looked like and how you don’ want to go back!
  3. Write down how your weight loss is making you feel healthier. Focus on the feelings of better health, and not on thinness. You may find yourself more motivated to continue working towards your goal, especially on days when the scale isn’t budging.
