Frequently Asked Questions Friday
Today the stunning Suzanne and Lorna Answer:
Is a Very Low Calorie ( VLCD ) Total Food Replacement Diet safe?

Lorna and Suzanne talk about the safety of a Very Low Calorie ( VLCD ) Total Food Replacement Diet.

Understanding what VLCD / TFR diet is:

VLCD stands for Very Low Calorie Diet and means that on a typical day on our plan following the guidelines of having four products a day your calorie intake will be around or under 800 Kcals per day. TFR on the other hand stands for Total Food Replacement, which means that any product you see labeled on our website as TFR is considered a complete meal.

TFR products contain all the minerals, vitamins and nutrients that your body needs on a day-to-day basis in order to remain healthy. By combining VLCD and TFR therefore you have the safest most potent way to lose weight! On top of this all our food products are ketogenic which means that you are going to blaze through your fat stores just that little bit quicker.

The Maximum time you should spend on a VLCD plan is 12 weeks, after which you need to refeed for at least two weeks and bring your calorie count back up. After this you can return to the plan and repeat the cycle until you reach your healthy BMI

Water is a really important part of your daily diet and we suggest drinking 2-4 litres which needs to be fairly evenly spread throughout the day as drinking to much water at once can be extremely dangerous.

Safety First: our 5 step pre-start checklist.
