[MAKE UP TUTORIAL] Simple Smokey Eyes
Do you find you make time for everybody else and never take the time to do something for you?
Make a conscious decision to make more time for you! If you are like me you probably haven’t done so in years. I had gained so much weight and stopped making an effort with my hair/makeup/beauty regime unless I was going out (which was rare)
We all know that we feel better when we have our hair/makeup done or go for a long bubble bath or paint our nails so why not do it more often? Not for anybody else’s benefit but just for YOU!!
Set aside a couple of hours a week for a little “me” time xxx
I have done a simple Smokey eyes tutorial for you to try for yourself! Give it a go
Step 1 – Use a neutral base colour all over your lid
Step 2 – Use a light brown all over the lower lid and blend up into eye socket
Step 3 – Use a dark brown on the outer corner of your eye socket along your crease and blend up towards your brow. Follow the pic for how high to blend it. Also use this dark brown under your eye on the outer corner and blend to half ways in just under your lower lashes.
Step 4 – Use a liquid black liner to line your top lid bringing it out to a point at the edge and back in under your lower lashes, roughly half ways in. Add Mascara! Voilà – Simple Smokey eyes!!
To adjust this look for night time, use a darker brown for step 3 and use a shimmery beige colour under your brows and on the inner corners of your eyes to add a bit of sparkle
Hope you liked my tutorial!
