A brilliant day out without food!
When you are on total food replacement you realise how much of life is based around food! So me and my husband planned a day out, and we went to play Crazy Golf – I kicked his ass – and I got a few hole in one’s into the bargain (Fist pump!).
Then we went to the Grand Opera House in Belfast and watched a musical based on the story of the Titanic. It was a really good musical, and the story was very poignant, as the titanic struck ice on 14th April 1912, exactly 100 years ago.
It feels great to be able to get out and do things, playing crazy golf, and even walking up the steps in the Grand Opera House, are things that I could not have done 6 months ago!
I have been buying new clothes, I am size 14 in tops now, I was size 20-22 in January. So as well as having my mobility back and being able to go out and do things, I am feeling a lot more better about myself, my size and my clothes, so going out is definitely a much more enjoyable experience in every way!
I can’t believe how quickly time is going by, I will be going to USA in less than 8 weeks time. I think having a deadline really makes you focused, but it can also make you feel overwhelmed too! lol Life is full of contradictions isn’t it!
Well my next goals are to get into the 11stone bracket, and I should achieve that next week.
I also am REALLY looking forward to getting into the next clothes sizes – I am currently size 14 top and size 16 jeans. So next goal is to get into size 12 top and size 14 Jeans. I have already bought a pair of size 14 jeans, and can get them on but its not really a good look, but will keep trying them on every few days to keep me focused, and I hope to be able to wear them comfortably before this month is out!
It is my Mum’s 60th birthday in May, and we have planned 2 meals! So I probably will eat some fish and vegetables on those 2 evenings. We have also booked Isabella’ Christening for June, this is even more motivation for me to look as best as I can for the photos etc.
The next 2 months are going to crazy!! But I like craziness 🙂
