50 Ways to Take A Break without Ruining your Diet
Life is busy, stressful and full on sometimes! It is important to Take A Break and some time to chill out and relax. Here are 50 ways to take a break without ruining your diet.
When you are on a strict diet, it can be easy to feel like throwing the towel in and saying, I can’t do this anymore! But if you plan some little breaks into your day to take some time out you will feel more relaxed and content within yourself, so you will not need to turn to food to change your mood.
Here are some ways you can change how you feel and take a little break..
- Take a bubble bath (treat yourself to something nice from Lush)
- Light a candle (my favourite is strawberry yankee candle!)
- Listen to music (create a playlist of your favourite uplifting songs)
- Take a nap Zzzzzz
- Enjoy a New You product in peace and quiet.
- Go to a body of water – local lake, river, or if you are lucky enough to live near the sea!
- Learn something new – sign up for a online course or a local workshop
- Write a letter – to someone or to yourself.
- Listen to a guided relaxation
- Take deep belly breaths!
- Read a books
- Sit in nature – or in the garden!
- Go for a walk
- Write in a journal
- Do some gentle stretches
- Colour in with Crayons
- Make some music
- Let out a sigh
