5 Step Mission Plan that Will Get Your Head In The Diet Game to WIN!
The New You Plan is a head diet, and to succeed on the plan, you need to get your head in the game.
In this blog post, I want to share with you a 5 step plan to getting your head focused on the most important thing in 2020 – YOUR TRANSFORMATION.
After all, what is more important than you becoming the healthy, happy version of yourself that you know you deserve to be? Nothing, Nothing is more important than YOU. So make yourself and your transformation a priority and let’s get this mission completed ASAP!
Here is your 5 step plan to getting your head in the diet game to win in 2020!
STEP (1) BE SPECIFIC ABOUT YOUR WEIGHT LOSS MISSION
Do you have a defined weight loss goal in mind and a date you want to achieve it for? It will help you a lot when you have clarity on your goal weight.
I urge you to pick a goal that represents a weight that you know you will feel healthy and happy at. Then work out an approximate date you can achieve it for. And then go hell for leather to make it happen!!
STEP (2) BE HAPPY & CONGRUENT WITH YOUR MISSION
Once you are clear on your mission, and you know your weight loss goal and goal date. There is a very important thing to do next.
You MUST make sure that everything you THINK, SAY AND DO, is in harmony with your MISSION.
All your thoughts must support your goal.
When I was in my early twenties, I used to do a commission only sales job, door to door. I would walk for miles every day, and have so many doors closed in my face. Someone told me that you cannot think 2 thoughts at one time, and that as soon as a negative thought came into my head, to replace it immediately with a positive thought. We cannot control what thoughts pop into our head, but we can decide what to do with the thought when it arrives. If you start to have doubts come into your head about whether you can achieve your goal or not, you have to train your mind to replace it with an empowering thought that will be in alignment with you achieving your mission
All your thoughts, words and actions, should be empowering you to do what it takes everyday to achieve your mission.
Gandhi, said that “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”
This is why so many of our customers who are flying on plan, feel so good! Once you make your thoughts, words and actions match, you become unstoppable because you are in harmony with yourself. You are not arguing with yourself, you are not dwelling on negative thoughts, you are not self sabotaging yourself.
Being congruent is crucial to your success with your mission!
STEP (3) CREATE A SENSE OF URGENCY AROUND YOUR MISSON
When you have a weight loss goal, and date, you have something defined to work towards. When your thoughts, words and actions are aligned, you are a force to be reckoned with!
The next step to completing your mission in record time, is creating a SENSE OF URGENCY!
Act like every hour of every day counts. Act like there is no time to waste, you need to make the most of every day and take action consistently every day.
The more energy and focus you put into your mission, the more momentum you will gain. The more you build momentum, the more your mission will become the most exciting and inspiring time of your life. You will be unstoppable and develop amazing confidence and skills that will help you in all areas of your life.
STEP (4) CREATE A CONSEQUENCE IN YOUR MIND THAT SCARES YOU!
When you are on a mission, life will always make sure that you are tempted. Temptation shows up like this;
- Sure it’s your Auntie’s birthday, you have to have a wee slice of cake!
- Having this weekend off will be fine, sure you have been so good for weeks now!
- You have to live! You can’t miss a night out with your friends to the pub.
Having a slice of cake, a weekend off or a night out with your friends, all seem like lovely sociable things to do, and they are!
But, if you are on a mission and committed to your goal date then you have to say NO to all temptations until your mission is COMPLETE.
One of the best ways to do this, is to create a massive consequence to breaking your mission in your head. Afterall the new you plan is a head diet, so the more you can master your mind the better chances you will have of succeeding!
Here’s how you can go about this;
What is your biggest fear? Imagine in your head, that if you break your mission, that your biggest fear will come true.
OR
What is your biggest hearts desire? Imagine in your head that if you break your mission, that it will never come true.
Your consequence is something very personal to you. You need to have an emotional reaction to it, and you need to almost believe that the story and mind game you are playing with yourself is true.
STEP (5) IF YOU MESS UP, DON’T GIVE UP, BUT LIFT YOURSELF UP!
If you follow step 1-4 you should not mess up. But you might, and if you do; you have 2 choices.
- Give up, beat yourself up, and tell yourself you are a failure who is destined to be overweight forever and there is no point trying anymore.
- Lift yourself up, talk to yourself kindly and encourage yourself to keep going. Don’t turn a mole hill into a mountain. Just refocus and realign and go and make your mission complete!
TA-DA! YOUR HEAD IS OFFICIALLY IN THE GAME
