Getting Started: From Rock Bottom to Taking Back Control
Emma: How much weight have you lost, and what is your goal?
Louise: As of this morning, I’ve lost 4st 9lbs. My goal is to get to 11.5st, and I’ve just tipped under the 12st mark, so I’m nearly there!
Emma: What led you to start the plan, and how were you feeling at the time?

Louise: I’d hit rock bottom. I’d tried loads of diets – meal delivery plans, all shakes, you name it. I’m a picky eater and nothing worked. I’d also just come through a serious illness, and I was so low. One day I looked at myself and thought, “No. This isn’t me. I can’t keep living like this.”
Then I saw an ad on Facebook for 100 sachets for £100 and decided, “Why not? I’ve nothing to lose.” I was pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty, and the plan was easy to follow. It gave me structure. I didn’t want to hide in baggy clothes anymore. I wanted to feel like me again.
Winning Moment: Becoming a Transformation Challenge Star
Emma: How did you feel when you found out you were a Transformation Challenge winner?
Louise: When Nicola called, I honestly thought she was going to tell me that I hadn’t sent in the right photos or something! Then when I found out I’d won, I couldn’t believe it. I rang my sister straight away -she’s been with me on this journey from the start.

It felt like a pat on the back, an acknowledgment that I’ve come so far. Not just about the weight, but that I’ve shown up for myself. I felt proud – like I finally got that “You did it” moment.
The Journey: Highs, Lows & Breakthrough Moments
Emma: How did your first week go? Did anything surprise you?
Louise: I honestly expected to fail. Day one was exciting – trying something new. Day two, three, and four? I cried. I called my sister thinking, “What have I done?”
But I didn’t give in. I leaned on the community, drank my Redbush tea, had my baths, and pushed through. By day five, I felt amazing. Your energy changes. And it’s true – your taste buds change too!
Emma: What were the hardest parts?
Louise: The first few days were tough, especially emotionally. And when I’ve had surgery or been unwell, I felt frustrated that I couldn’t fully stick to plan. But I didn’t let those moments define me.
Louise: And the best parts?

Louise: The milestones! Going to Spain and hiking up mountains, feeling amazing in my clothes, being the one outpacing others. Every weigh-in, every “Wow” moment. Those are everything.
Mindset Shift: The Confidence to Live Fully
Emma: How has your life changed since losing the weight?
Louise: Oh, where to start! Physically, I’m so much healthier. I had non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and that’s now reversed. My activity levels are up – I walk, I go to the gym alone, I’m confident in my clothes. I even started giving up smoking and managing other health conditions better.
Mentally, I’m not hiding anymore. I used to need others around to do anything. Now I go out on my own, chat to strangers, and feel good. Even on my lazy days, I try to hit 10,000 steps because I want to feel good.

Emma: Has the plan taught you anything new?
Louise: Absolutely. Portion control, nutrition, macronutrients – it’s all finally clicked. I’ve been in the gym for years and even had personal trainers, but this is the first time I’ve really learned about my relationship with food. I feel in control now, not restricted.

Emma: What products can’t you live without?
Louise: I’m obsessed with the Nacho Cheese Crisps, the Apple & White Chocolate Bars, and the Cookies & Cream Shake. Every night, I make a kind of “cookie crumble ice cream” with porridge biscuits and it’s heaven. Honestly, people at work are always asking me what I’m eating!
Compliments, Victories & the Power of Community
Emma: What’s the best compliment or moment you’ve had so far?
Louise: I went back to the office after some time away and someone said, “Louise, we didn’t even recognise you!” That comment stayed with me all day. It was such a boost.
And at the gym, people have started noticing the changes. I’ve swapped my baggy tops for more fitted gym wear – and yes, even the guys have noticed.

Emma: Any favourite non-scale victories?
Louise: So many! Tying my shoelaces without struggling. Sitting on a bike without my belly in the way. Seeing my clothes hang loose. But most of all – reversing my health issues. That’s the biggest win.
Looking Ahead: Eyes on the Finish Line
Emma: What are you most looking forward to when you reach your goal?
Louise: Holding that “I DID IT poster! Going back to my doctor and saying, “See – I told you it wasn’t just my age.” But mainly, just being proud. Knowing I did it. That I never gave up, even when the path was bumpy.
Emma: What advice would you give your past self?

Louise: Believe in yourself more. Trust the process. Don’t give up hope – your dreams will come true. You are capable of more than you think.

Louise: The people. The 24/7 support. The friendships I’ve made. Even if it’s midnight, someone’s there with advice or a kind word. We lift each other up – and that’s priceless.
