This Thursday we are focusing on #Move –

#Move – A little bit of cardio every day helps to keep you fit and healthy, in your body and your mind. If you think you do not have time to exercise, then think of how you can add in 5 mins for intense exercise in the morning and evening. 10 minutes a day adds up to 60 hours a year! The more you move, the more you want to move, and the more energy you have to move with! Movement gets your endorphin’s going. Endorphin’s are released in your brain when you exercise with intensity, they helps you to relieve stress and feel happy! A good walk is also great for your mood – always remember – Emotion comes from Motion! If you want to feel better, MOVE!

      1. I’m not very active everyday as I spend the majority of my day sat at a desk
      2. I would love to be more active and I’m taking little steps towards it. I’ve joined a jiu-jitsu class twice a week and try to walk at least 8000 steps a day and track it with my phone. I also want to start doing 30 mins exercise at least 4 times a week, this is one of my goals this month!
      3. I’ve lost 60lbs so far on plan and I feel so much fitter! Before I started plan, even walking for more than 10 mins left me with pains in my knees, legs and ankles. The stairs left me panting when I got toothed top. Now I can walk pain free, I’m enjoying my jiu-jitsu and don’t look AS red in the face as when I started lol and I can even jog up the stairs without losing my breath! I feel great and I can’t wait to feel even better when I get to goal xxx

Before starting with NY I was pretty much a couch potato. Since the day I started NY on 11th April I have made the effort to get off my butt and walk. My first week I was averaging around 9k steps per day and each week this has increased and I am now doing between 15 and 25k steps per day. I am building up my stamina and fitness levels gradually and losing weight at the same time is fantastic. My aim is to start jogging again and go back cardio tennis which is exhausting and like torture at the time but you feel great afterwards. I have lost weight, my general mood has improved which is fantastic since I suffer from depression and I am definitely fitter. I can definitely feel the benefits of getting out and moving,

Unfortunately not as active as I’d like to be but looking to improve this ! I have lost about 1 1/2 stones so far with a few more to go, but even that loss has made a difference! My joints don’t ache as much and climbing the stairs is no longer a work out in itself! The best thing is that I know as long as I follow the plan – I’m only going to feel better and stronger. the diet is now under control – just need to increase the exercise!

I have become more active over the last 3 weeks as I find it is great for the mind especially if you suffer from depression.

Yes I would love to up my activity levels further and will be doing so over the next few weeks

Since I have lost weight I feel absolutely fantastic. The walking is now helping with toning up

I try to walk most days since starting the NY plan. I’ve lost 20lbs so far in a short period of time (4weeks). I do feel like I have more energy. Not only for exercising but in general. I am definetly moving more since starting the plan 🙂

I am not very active physically as int job role
Only includes sitting at my desk using a computer.

I have started walking home every day since Monday
And that takes at least 30mins.

I haven’t had a weigh in as yet
As I plan to do it on a weekly basis & only started at the beginning of this week.
Although I must say I feel more motorvated already .
      So early days yet.

      1.Are you physically active?
I used to be so active but a stressful final year in uni, along with full-time job and a family have really burnt me out, so at the minute I am not active at all 🙁

2.Would you like to be more active?
Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes I miss the feeling of fitness and I hate being so sluggish all the time.

3.From you have lost weight do you feel fitter?
I have only just received my package and I intend to start on Monday, so at the minute the answer is no for me!!!
