Tell us 5 things you would measure yourself on other than weight loss
1: Being able to walk 10km in a day and not be out of breath like I used to be after only walking 100 meters.
2: Wearing clothes several sizes smaller than I used to.
3: Being able to have come off some of the meds I had been on for years.
4:The tape measure as it shows inch loss even if there isn’t a weightloss showing on the scales
5: Finally Feeling comfortable in my own skin.

Coming off my anti depressants. Been on them for over 10 years and for the first time in all that time I am confident, happy and in a great place with weight loss to start to reduce and then come off all together.
My emotions and happiness of everyone around me
      Clothes getting smaller of course
Being able to cross my legs
Having a gap at the top of my legs 😂😂😂😂😂

Five things I would measure myself on other than weight loss are:
      1. my self worth – what is my value as a person and how do I feel about myself.
      2. my work-life balance – life is not all about work and stress so it’s worth looking at how much time I spend outside of work too.
      3. amount of laughter in my day – life is for living and enjoying and it’s very easy to get all caught up in what should be done and needs to be done. However, it’s also worth taking time for the lighter side of life and just taking it easy and being a little bit silly each day.
      4. number of steps I take which not only helps my physical health status but also aids my mental health
      5. happiness – just overall feeling am I stressed, upset or am I working through these niggley issues and becoming a happier person in all aspects of my life.

I measure myself on mindset..like how clear things are in my head and how not stressed I am. I measure myself on how toned I am if I’ve been working out. I measure myself on how clear my skin is and whether if is dry or not. I measure my self on how much of a productive day I have and and I also measure myself on how sore I am after the gym!

      4. Finding my competitive streak again.
      5. Being able to walk up a local deceptively steep hill without needing an oxygen tent at the top 😂.
      6. The inches getting smaller on the tape measure too.

      2) my ability to deal with problems. I feel more able to cope and deal with all of life’s stresses. I do a review most weeks now on what I’m doing good what was not so good and trying to focus and celebrate the good.
      3) my relationships. Feeling more confident has encouraged me to be more outgoing at work. Talking to more people and lifting my head to smile and say hello. Breathing and counting to 10 with the kids.
      4) clothes.love trying on and getting into older clothes. So motivating.
      5) my wellbeing and fitness. Having the energy , confidence to go to
the gym and join new classes. I’m now able to do sit ups and press ups. Setting goals of how many I can do and watching these increase week in week.
