I don’t really care where the picture would be taken. Anywhere and everywhere!!!
I will be wearing anything that shows how far I’ve come….dresses above the knee because I won’t have to hide my fat knees!!!

How has your weight loss journey been?
Enlightening as I have gained so much as I have lost weight. I am more confident and feel so much better about myself.
If you were to take a picture when you reach your goal – who would be in it?
I think it would just be me. I usually am hiding with someone else so me on my own with the biggest smile on my face. If I did have anyone in it, i would have my daughter.
Why would those people be in it?
I would include my daughter to show her that you don’t shy away from cameras – you are proud of what you look like and pose as if you are a supermodel. Confidence would shine through our photo.
Where would you have the picture taken?
In front of the big tree in my parents garden where we have taken all major life photos – there are photos of me there when I started primary school, secondary school and then my wedding. I would love there to be a photo showing the
      What would you be wearing?
I would be wearing a dress picked out by my daughter. I have become more confident in my clothes – no more days of only wearing mammy uniform of bootcut jeans, vest and baggy cardigan. I am not afraid or as self conscious so am more adventurous with my clothing which is also good for my daughter to see.

My weight loss has been up and down, taking the scenic route but two stone gone forever.

My mam would be the one person I would love to be able to have in my photo but she passed away a little while ago. We were the best of friends and of all the people in my life I would choose her for my photo.

I would love to have the photo in her garden, she spent 90% of her free time there and it was her pride and joy.

What would I wear? Simple, a smile like never before.

How has your weight loss journey been?

My weight loss journey so far has been challenging. In total, I would like to lose 9 stone. When you start your journey and think, I have 9 stone to lose, it is so so daunting and seems impossible. So far I have lost 4 stone! The 9 stone mark is so so close!!! There have been days during my journey though that I have thought, I can’t do this! I don’t want to do this any more. You really have to battle with your mind!! I am still going though, I haven’t given up!!

If you were to take a picture when you reach your goal – who would be in it?

      My daughter and my husband.

Why would those people be in it?

They are the reason that that I am on this journey. I want to be around for them for as long as possible and I want to have a photo with them, showing what I have achieved!

Where would you have the picture taken?

Outside with nature, on a walk. Something that we all love doing so much. That would be our happy place

      What would you be wearing?

I would love to be wearing some skinny jeans, converse and a tank top with no cardigan or jacket covering up my arms!!!

How has your weight loss journey been? .. So far, surprisingly pleasant. Haven’t felt hungry at all, a bit queasy when I need to eat, but a drink takes care of that.

If you were to take a picture when you reach your goal – who would be in it? … Me and my 9 year old son

Why would those people be in it? … My son is my life and, as a single parent with full care, I have to be there for him and want to be there for him.

Where would you have the picture taken? … Anywhere would be great.

What would you be wearing? … A smile — and I rarely smile in photos, if you can get me in one!

*Journey has been very smooth which is surprising. Love this plan.
*Girlfriend would have to be with me otherwise she’d punch me 😛
*Reason… she’d punch me. We come as a package (queue the awww’s)
*Would love it taken at the place where our new house is. Plenty of farm land, beautiful scenery. Can’t wait to move there permanent in the Summer!
*Hopefully I’d be wearing some shorts & t shirt as it’d be sunny as hell. I’d like a nice casual photo, nothing flash 😀

Weight loss during has been great!! So do able with the plan and so much support out there! I would take a picture with my amazing boyfriend and my super mom. They have been an unbelievable support and help all the way through and I couldn’t do it without them! I would take the picture on the beach (favourite place in the world) in a bikini or an fitted summer dress… I worked hard to her here and will continue to for another 5 weeks or so and I deserve my body!!

My weightloss journey has been fabulous and consistent after battling with underactive thyroid with no joy. I simply love how I feel and act on TFR.

I would love to have an up to date professional family photo shoot as the last time was New Years eve 4 years ago and I was much bigger and the kids were much smaller. I’d also like a pic with all my family like aunties, uncles, siblings, parents, grandparents and cousins as we’re expanding in numbers all the time.

I would love to take the pics on our family farm, breathtaking panoramic views and awesome memories from growing up.

I would love to wear either a very pretty fitted dress or a lovely shirt and skinny jeans with tall boots that fit over my smaller calves.

I am so excited to see what goals I have smashed by the summer as since hitting my first goal I’ve decided to go further xx

My weight loss journey has been wonderful. It has its ups and downs but then again so has life! You truly need to want to loose weight and be in the right mindset for this diet. Iv had quite a few planned week off since Xmas when I started but iv been able to get back on track and on plan after. Which is the hardest part of this diet. When I reach my goal I will organise a family fun day, instead of a meal. We will go for a walk on a beautiful beach (my favourite place in the world) and go to the amusements. I will take lots of pictures with the people I love. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be the person u am now or the person I will be when I reach target. Il wear a colourful summer dress and sandles as I normally wear blacks and greys and hide my legs.

My journey has seen me ‘wake up’.I’ve never felt so alive. So zingy and full of energy. I’ve tried so many things in the past but always felt tired and hungry. New you is so different and I feel so good about life that food no longer dominates my thoughts. My kind da and my husband are with me in my picture. They are my world. I want to set them a good example and for them to have me at my best. We are a team and face life together. The photo would be in Thailand as I’ve dreamed of taking them there and plan to do so next year. I’d be wearing a lovely flowing maxi dress in green and blues. I’ll be tanned and have my hair just done. We’d be heading out for an evening meal at a beach cafe and would have stopped to capture the moment. I want to love having my photo taken instead of dreading it. Xx

The weight loss journey has been slow but it has never stopped. Almost at a weight I will be really happy with.
I want a family picture – me, my husband and our 2 young children. We do not have any pictures up on the wall and I would love to have a picture of our happy family in our main room. Never been slim enough to want pictures taken and I have def missed out on making so many #magicalmoments with them.
Our local parks are lovely so it would be great fun to have pics at a picnic or on the slide/swings.
I prefer trousers/jeans but would definitely now consider a dress (long).

My weight loss journey has been so many things all at once. It’s been tough, frustrating, scenic enlightening & has in fact totally transformed me!

I would love to have a photo of me, my husband and my two girls taken professionally. I’d like them to be in the picture because they are my world. We do not have one because in the past I was always ashamed of myself. I recently had a photo of the 4 of us taken by a friend – I am half way through my journey, but cannot wait to have a professional one taken once I reach my goal weight!

I would also love a photo of me with my New Your friends. This would be the brightest picture ever because I know we would all shine. This journey is so much more than a weight loss one…..

I would love to have photos of us taken anywhere. Our own beauty would shine through so much that the backdrop would be insignificant!

In terms of clothes, I’d like to be wearing something vintage. I love the vintage style, probably from around the 50’s era, similar to the style of Rita Ora, but I have never felt confident or brave enough to wear them!

MY weight loss has been a struggle but IM still trying, I’ve lost around 2 stone and I am nearly at a healthy BMI.
my picture would be with my mom who is also doing the new you diet, and with my two small brothers who keep us active and always on our toes.
They would be in it because they inspire me to try and keep the weight off.
The picture would be taken in a warm place, somewhere with nice scenery.
I would be wearing a playsuit, without tights to show that i am proud of myself and my scars no matter what others think

How has your weight loss journey been? Fantastic so far – 4 stone gone forever
If you were to take a picture when you reach goal, who would be in it? I would take a picture with my husband and three sons
Why would those people be in it? They give all supported me in my journey with encouragement and praise to find the New Me!
Where would you have the picture taken? I would have the picture taken in Times Square New York
What would you be wearing? Some nice shorts and a sleeveless top!

My journey although short as I’ve only been on plan for 19 days, has been amazing so far. Sneak peek at the scales this morning told me that I have lost 1stone exactly in that time and I am just blown away by that. The SS group have been so supportive and caring and all my questions have been answered whenever I’ve needed advice or guidance and I have tried to do the same with others too. I’ve gotten off my butt and started walking everywhere and so far this week I have averaged 20k steps per day and can really feel it.

My husband and children would be in my goal weight photograph because for the last 10 years I have done my best to avoid being in photos because of my weight. However, this means that I don’t have very many family photos with me and my children in them together which is actually quite sad.

We would take the photo on the beach in Cambersands because we had a fantastic holiday there even though the heating in the cottage we rented was on the blink and it was freezing! I would be wearing a lovely size 12 floaty summer dress that shows off my fabulous new figure (never worn a size 12 in my life) and a pair of strappy sandals, maybe even a nice summer hat to go with it.

Ive been on my New You journey for 4 weeks and I’ve lost 29lbs so I’m pleased with that. It’s been the easiest diet I’ve been on. Most of the time I don’t feel hungry. It’s a head diet-my eyes and head like the look of food but my body doesn’t need it.

I would have my photo taken with my husband, children and the close friends that have really supported me along the way. Kristen for introducing me, Karen for being there through other diets and hospital appointments, Julie and Candice for our daily text support group.

I would wear my wedding dress, taken in as I would love to have pictures of me slim wearing it.

I would be on the beach where I feel alive and free.

My journey so far has been short as I haven’t started this plan too long. It was tough getting used to the plan the first few days but so far I have got myself into a routine. I know what I like and I stick to that with trying a new food every so often.I don’t feel hungry and fell already much lighter.

I hate seeing myself in pictures and my family love taking them. I love taking them of my son and the rest of the family, so my son my mum and dad and my three sisters who have all been a big support of me doing this plan and succeeding. They all be waiting eagerly for me to text them all on a Monday aswell to hear how I have done for that week.

After 12 weeks I have a family wedding to attend in August that is my goal that I can fit into a nice outfit as there will be plenty of pics taken that day and not feel ashamed to be photographed. I am hoping to like myself a little more with some weight off. So I am thinking a gorgeous dress in chiffon a bright colour with heels that I can walk in and stand tall and pose to get my pic taken.

      1) How has your weight-loss Journey been?
It has been a struggle. I go from 100% focused to lacking all enthusiasm whatsoever and wanting to stuff my face. I then remind myself of why I’m trying to lose weight and think about my goal. I also say to myself if I’m not hungry enough to have an apple then I’m not hungry.

      2) If you were to take a picture when you reach your goal – Who would be in it?
Just me. Smaller, happier, more confident and proud.

      3) Why would those people be in it?
I got myself to where I am and it’s purely down to me to make changes.

      4) Where would the picture be taken?
On a beach, enjoying my new body!

      5) What would you be wearing?
Swimwear! Smaller and tighter. Possibly showing my stomach for the first time in years.

      1) to be honest my weight loss journey has been hard. Really hard. So hard that in conjunction with the new you plan I’ve joined over eaters anonymous. And so far so good.

      2) The picture I would take would just be of me. Happy to be me. Happy in my own skin.

      3) it would just be me because I got my self into my weight problems and I’ll be the one to get myself out!

      4) the picture would be taken in my home or anywhere really surrounded by my family 🙂

      5) I would be wearing my size 12 pre pregnancy jeans and a sleeveless top!

    • Author gravatar

How has your weight loss journey been? My weightloss journey has been a bit of a roller coaster of highs and lows.

If you were to take a picture when you reach your goal – who would be in it? It would have to be the Secret Slimmers group.

Why would those people be in it? Because these are the people that have inspired me to keep going when all I wanted to do was quit. The people that have been there through the highs and lows of the weightloss journey I embarked on.

Where would you have the picture taken? It would have to be taken on a sunny beach with a slight breeze blowing and the gentle sound of the waves on the sand

What would you be wearing? If at goal a bikini
