5 Stone weight loss journey!

The Interview:

The final numbers:

1Sarah lost 72 lbs or 5.14 stone in her time with The New You Plan and we are so proud of her. She dropped from a size 18 all the way down to a super stunning 10. She achieved these amazing results just between April and November of last year (2013). To put this into perspective, Sarah is 5 foot 2 which means that this weight change has dropped her BMI down from 37 right down to a BMI 24!

Sarah’s Key Factors for Sarah’s success on the plan:

7Sarah’s main focus for doing this plan is her lovely daughter. The light of Sarah’s life is the most important motivator she could ever have had and it fueled her fire all the way through this diet.

When I asked her for a little more info on this it became apparent that there was more to it. Sarah wanted her vibrant youth back to be able to give her daughter the attention she knew she deserved. Further to this Sarah wanted to be the role model she knew she could be for her daughter.

As Sarah progressed through her transformation she found that an increase in her confidence helped to perpetuate the awesome drive she already had to succeed.

The benefits Sarah has enjoyed so far:

2Being a ketogenic diet, Sarah points out one of the factors she noticed at the start, which is part and parcel of ketosis and that is lots of energy. This coupled with her being lighter on her feet day by day Sarah got the boost of energy she so desperately desired. This has not only given Sarah the ability to keep up with her daughter but also to exercise and be overall more energized.

Sarah lost an amazing 9lbs in her first week and has not looked back! She talks of an improvement in her confidence and overall perspective on life. Again at this point I would mention that this is also an added benefit of this type of diet in that the natural state of ketosis is associated with an almost euphoric state of well being.

Sarah’s tips:

3Sarah said something that puts the mindset of a winner on this diet so eloquently, – and that is ‘you only fail if you stop trying’. She found success in finding her boundaries, knowing when she was about to stray and then blocking it at this point by distracting herself by any means necessary.

Sarah also found that she would keep her routine the same each day to ensure her success. The routine consisted of taking her New You products at the following times 11:00, 15:00, 17 :00 and 19:00. This was coupled with having a pint of water when she wakes up in the morning to curb her hunger and then a pint of water before each product which would help add to her feeling fuller for longer. I personally can vouch for this approach as this is something I also did – it really works!
