Creating a New You takes a lot of time, effort, dedication and trust in yourself that someday no matter how long it takes you will be the person you have dreamt of being! I also feel it is important to look back and see how far you have come in your journey – ‘I’m perfectly proud of the work I did, looking back at it.’ We should all look back to the person we were and be proud of the person we are becoming.

On Motivational Monday I would love you all to to look back to the person you were before you started your New You journey. Think of what has changed in your lifestyle and your routine that you would never had seen those changes happening before.  Maybe you have more confidence in public places, maybe you can walk an extra mile, maybe your routine has changed or generally you just feel like a happier person! To have any sort of good or promising change in your life is such an achievement and you should hold on to this and learn from it.  The way you look at things within your life changes in a remarkable way and this in turn helps to shape you into the person you want to become.

We all work so hard to try our utmost to help you achieve your goal and motivate and inspire you through all angles. We thrive on the comments through the blogs and secret slimmers and we all feel like we are taking this Journey with you! There is truly a great story with each New You member and we at New You talk and share which eachother all of your successes and achievements and love to hear all about your individual journeys. Reading all the comments this morning on the weekly weightloss is just AMAZING and we love that we can share the highs and lows with you all.  We want you to be able to look back at the Plan and see how far you have come and how much you achieved! We LOVE our jobs and we want you to LOVE and be PROUD of your New You!!!

As the Challenge is on its last few days we are starting to look at our Journeys and eventhough the Challenge is ending we are all still remaining to be strong, staying motivated and getting excited about what else is to come. (Maybe even a New Challenge)WOOHOO  you have all been BRILLIANT and for these last few days we want to give it a BIG PUSH  and make these days COUNT get EXCITED and look forward to the NEW YOU!!!!!!!!!

new you

Remember this week is our LAST PRIZE DRAW – Don’t miss your chance of winning a MINI IPAD – all you have to do is complete the tasks and the top comments will be entered into the Prize Draw TOMORROW!!!!!!!

Through following the plan 100% I have seen exceptionally quick weightloss compared to other diets iv followed in the past. Seeing the fat melt away has really motivated me to stick to the plan and try to do better each & every day. Already I am feeling more confident as a person especially now that im able to slip comfortably into size 16 jeans – something I havent been able to do since falling pregnant with my first daughter a few years ago. Seeing how clothes fit better has encouraged me to shed more weight and im looking forward to nothing better than slipping into size 14s followed by size 12s – something I never ever could have done without the help of The New You Plan.

Something I would like to see more of within New You are more challenges and competitions as I find these great goal setters as well as being good fun to participate in.

You wouldn’t believe that in just a little over 2 weeks I’ve changed body wise so much. I was only thinking back and how uncomfortable I was in the only few pieces of clothes that fitted me. Now I’m down a full size in clothes and heading for the next size! Haven’t bought new stuff till I get to my goal because I’m trying not to waste money. But I’ll get to my goal in no time and I feel so much better. If I could stay on this plan forever I would. It’s so easy and tasty. There’s times I have a bar and think I’m being naughty! Haha! It’s too easy for me! I’m guessing I’m just in the best mind set and have my strong will power out! It’s great that I can do this and be healthy and energetic for my little girl. Life is gonna be good for just me and her in the future!

I’d love to see a few more snack ideas other than the nuts and puffs. Hopefully soon xx but I do love everything available now. Heard curry was come out which can’t wait for because I just realized I’m a big spicy fan!

I’m loving these tasks gets you thinking and motivated. Love it 🙂

I’ve vowed that I’m gonna get an amazing outfit for my birthday in August when I hopefully have achieved my goal and dress up for the first time at Halloween. I know its ages away but I like to set myself some goals for the future to keep me on track! 🙂

      Happy Monday everyone.
And remember food will still be there once you hit target! Keep going, keep strong and feel the weight fall off and change you for the better xxx 🙂

Nowadays I wake & feel I should get up nd be proud to have something to strive too. Before I didn’t have any motivation to get up in d mornings and I would try to stay in bed as long as possible so I could avoid people. On Saturday nights I became very anti social. I had zero confidence, I was constantly talking negative things about myself. My boyfriend even said he never met anyone with such a lack of confidence, someone from new you put up a quote that summed up my journey of confidence.
“I would walk into a room and wonder if people like me….
Now I walk into a room and wonder if I like them”
My journey so far is totally unimaginable. I wake up thinking Im going to the gym, I’m going to wear nice clothes and I am happy. My story is not a sob story, my story is about success & doing it. My core support is the new you secret slimmers. People say how good it is. Well, they don’t lie, the inspiration and community comes from it and knowing people you know won’t see it let’s you become relaxed about your weight. I think challenges are perfect but like monthly challenges they should email everyday just like the summer challenge because you look forward to the emails.
You feel like the end line is so far away but brake it down to each week nd it flys. I began 14.5 and I’m currently 12.8 and I hope to get too 12.5 so overall I’v lost 3 stone as I lost a stone before the summer challenge began.

I know you should do this for yourself….and I am….but we had made plans to get HEALTHY together and I feel a bit cheated. Going to do it for the BOTH of us…know she is smiling down at me resisting one of my favourites which I miss when I am in Spain…a Roll and Square slice sausage….they were right in front of me ….and believe me it was HARD….but I didn’t….and ….my wee sis could see the weight loss….now…that’s something after only a week….keep strong and giving it a 100% can’t wait to read all your stories….xxx

Hello everybody, I can’t believe its so near the end of the challenge already it seems like yesterday that we were taking the “IM IN” photos….
I spent most of yesterday clearing out all size 18 and 16 clothes, don’t know why I was keeping them because I never plan on wearing them again, I tried one of my favourite size 18 dresses needless to say it looked like a tent on me,but I stood there for ages with it on because I just couldn’t believe I was that big in the first place and I rem the night I wore it, bought it at the last min for a work function when I desperately couldn’t find anything else, and I actually thought I didn’t look too bad on the night!!! Well pink telly tubby springs to mind, really awful… Anyway today I wore a size 12 pair of M&S jeans, thrilled is not the word, iv come a long way since I started my journey the end of February and I would be telling a lie if I told you all it was easy, it was like been on a roller coaster, many highs and lows but by persevering and getting back on the wagon every time I fell off resulted in nearly 3 stone off so far.. 🙂 definitely the help from the secret slimmers page was amazing, some days it was what stopped the blips believe it or not… Also the summer challenge has had the biggest impact on the slimmers that I have seen since I joined the group, huge motivation and encouragement from all at new you and of course the prizes were great incentive too… 🙂
So much has changed for me and I’m not even at goal yet, I can get ready to go out in 20 mins now lol before it was always a mammoth task which resulted in half the contents of the wardrobe on the bed trying to find the best combination to wear that made sure everything was covered up lol usually took an hour or two..I’m feeling the best I have felt in years and am never going back up to that weight or size again.. Thank god that i like a lot of the products so most days i def dont feel deprived, easiest diet iv ever been on..I see posted a lot on the SS page that people are giving up,or running out of food due to cost, wonder about a monthly direct debit scheme or something like that with the times that are in it..?.
I know I will reach my goal, not putting myself to a time limit because when I put myself under pressure I normally go backwards, so I take every day as it comes, my journey is slow and steady and I will still get there, unrealistic for me to believe that I will have plain sailing without blips or falls so I accepted that was part of it and didn’t beat myself up when it happened, just dusted myself off and kept going even on the weeks that I lost nothing… Thanks for all the continued support.. Xxxx

To say I’m a New person is an understatement! I’m a new body, should, and mind

I’ve changed inside and out, and all for the better, and all thanks to everybody involved in my journey, all my SS friends, Julz, Lisa, Ellie, Grant, and the made Sarah With her video blogs, and amazing humour, that puts a smile on my face every day

Back in January, I was facing yet another year, of starting a New Years resolution of losing weight, reaching the first few weeks, and caving, and falling flat on my fat face, as soon as something stressed, me out, or the first hurdle on my journey was in front of me.

This year, I discovered New You, and the name says it all…. I am now well on my way to being the person I missed being, the person who was the life and soul of any party, the fit and healthy personal trainer, who taught others how to get fit and healthy. I’ve never been so excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel, the tunnel I’ve been stuck in for over ten years

I can not wait to buy a whole new wardrobe of clothes, to show my kids just how beautiful their mam really is

My hubby cannot keep his hand off of me (I swear it’s true) and I’m beating off with a stick., lol
I’ve so much energy, I’m so positive, about my future, and although I’ve had a lot of dramas in my life, I no longer see life as the glass half empty…. My glass is now full, full of life, love, laughter, and I’m so gonna live it

Thank you New you, this has been by far the best challenge I’ve partaken in, and I’m looking forward to the next one

I’m really looking forward to Christmas this year, I will be at my goal weight, and to celebrate, I’m heading to Orlando, to ring in the new year in Disney….. The land of dreams, where wishing on a star, will make all your dreams come true, and where, I will be dreaming of a new start, to my new me, in my new life…. Bring on 2014

There are a few spellings errors in my blog, apologies I get too, excited doing these challenges! Lol
I meant to say what I would like to see from NY…. I think it’s great the way it is…. I wouldn’t change, a thing, I’ve heard there’s a curry on the way, so I look forward to that, and I love the carbonara, as I’m not fond of meat, so I stay away from the chilli, and noodle nosh, as they tasted really meaty to me, even though there’s no meat in them, I adore the cottage pie (old version) so maybe just another veggie type, that is creamy like the carbonara, fab!

I love how the NY has changed my life for better. I have tried all the diets known and although I had some success occasionally, it didn’t last for long and I have always put it all back on as I just wasn’t taught how to maintain properly. I have never however received so much support from any of the diets, not even the ones with counselling component, as I didn’t really consider it worth while and it wasn’t really helpful to me. I found NY very motivational, the challenges are great, the big boss Julie-Ann is fantastic and so helpful, she has gone through this journey herself and so can relate to each one of us. I have found the support of Secret Slimmers just amazing, I have made friends and followed people’s stories, sad or happy, it’s always so amazing to read.
And of course the NY products taste great, no other food replacement diet has such a great range of tasty products.
I would like to see the continuity of challenges within NY as they are just a great motivator, maybe some more snack types though we do have already a huge choice of packs and some other big bars, the coconut ones were my absolute favourites and now I like the peanut ones. Apart from that I just love NY and the confidence that it has given me in living every day life and enjoying myself, I know that with NY I can succeed and lose and maintain my weight, good times are coming.
Have a great Monday everyone. xxx 🙂

      Wow- what a task….

Finding New You has changed me in ways I could never imagine! i’m sitting here typing this in a pair of red skinny size 12 jeans from Pennys (primark) and a white vest top! I don’t have a roll of fat tipping over the top of them, and if truth be told, when I stand up I have to pull up the jeans as they are actually too loose!! I truly never thought that the 42 days I’ve been on this challenge I’d loose so much weight – I am now only 2 lbs short of loosing 2 stone and finally feeling good about myself! Although, I ‘m still getting my size wrong, in Dublin on Friday I went bikini shopping, I took a size 16 top and bottoms off the rail in river island to try on, and ended up having to get a 14 top and 12 bottom!!! I went shopping the other day and hubby was with me, he was behind me in the shopping centre, and he actually said that I was (lol ok don’t laugh, I find it hard to believe but he honestly wasn’t lying) turning male heads hahahahahhaha ME….. TURNING MEN’S HEADS lol that is hilarious!!!! I have a new found confidence, I look find going out the house in just a pair of jeans and a vest top/t=shirt…. 2 months ago, i’d be in the loosest possible top covering all my lumps and bumps! And it’s all thanks to New You, not only the yummy products, the meals, the snacks, the water flavourings… and the amazing facebook page which honestly has given me so much encouragement and support on dark days…… New You has created a New Me and has been there every step of the (short) way. That’s what’s so great about this programme… the results are fast …. I stil have a stone to loose – and I plan on doing so after my holiday, but, already my clothes are quite literally hanging off me!! The only thing I can think of for New You that could be improved is perhaps more choice in meal replacements (the ones for dinner) and perhaps a few new snacks (the ones like the chilli puffs….) Oh and PLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEE get in some more of the peanut crunch bars as soon as possible!!!!

Thank you each and every one of you for helping me get to where I am today…. I’m so excited about how far I’ve come, and for where I’m going x

Phew what can I say about how much New You has changed/helped me?! I think all I can really say is 10 stone and still going! That is how much I have lost since my heaviest and I still have 2 more stone to go. 10 stone is an unbelievable amount! That is a whole person! With New You I have been able to get to where I am now. Currently at 13 stone and still going strong.
In regards to the challenge, this has really kept me motivated and focused on losing weight. It has given me something to do and think about everyday which has taken my mid off the diet.
I would definitely like to see more challenges like this. Really get people thinking and interacting.
