Today is Thought for Thursday & Today I want YOU to put your thinking cap on and come up with some exciting goals for what you want to HAVE, BE & DO!

I really want you to make the time to do today’s task! When you have something exciting to work towards and look forward to it really helps you to stay on course with your transformation!  So get your thinking cap on today and take part! xx

“I made a huge decision that 2013 was not going to be unlucky for me ( even though with the carbon monoxide poisoning and car crash, some might say it has been) but still here!!! 2013 is my year…. The year I dedicate to getting the old me back, the fun, confident, outgoing me…. The me, my kids have never seen!
Ive lost 4 and a half stone so far this year, and I’m going back to college to update my portfolio in Childcare…. My hubby is moving to London for work, which will be tough, but we are strong and I know we will make it work! My daughter is making her communion next year which is my goal do I know longer have to hide behind the camera… I want next year to be the start of the new me, like the old me when I was young and outgoing but just a more mature, wiser and sexier!

Why I love this story…

“Something in me broke randomly one day. Just a little thought that surfaced… why must I be the one to suffer this weight? Do I not deserve the same as others? Do I not get to feel pretty?
And it just dawned on me… I could change this. It was POSSIBLE. But how?!?
Then I found the New You Plan. I can honestly say it has completely changed my life – my thought processes about food, my confidence, and it has made me feel much less alone too through the wonderful people in Secret Slimmers
I am nearly 4stone down (I will be next week, so help me!) in a few short months!

“Because for the first time…. for the first time in YEARS…I am doing something FOR ME… I am loosing this weight FOR ME, so that I feel better in myself… I still have sad days, I still have stressful days…. I’ve just in the door now having put my grandfather to bed (as I do everyday) and I’ve lunches to make and tidying to do….
Being thinner is something I can control in a world that I feel that I’ve had no control over… I can’t wait to post my after photos… to feel good in myself, stand proud and say… HERE I AM….. ME….

TODAY’S THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY

Reading all the stories from the Monday blog post, I felt that today’s THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY, we should all do a task that involves writing the best future we can create!

It is so important to remember that the past does not define you or does not equal the future.  Every day is a new opportunity to create a new you!

So today’s task I want everyone to draw up a list of goals for things you are going to work towards experiencing in your future!

      Hi guys,
      Hope you are having a great week.
      Here are my top 5 goals for each of doing, having and being:

      Things I want to do:
      1. Go on my first ever holiday to Cyprus in October
      2. Swim with dolphins and sharks, not at the same time
      3. Study medicine
      4. Learn French
      5. Enjoy life

      Things I want to be:
      1. A doctor
      2. Fluent in French
      3. Slim, fit and healthy
      4. Proud of my achievements
      5. Feeling and looking young

      Things I want to have:
      1. New job
      2. House finished off
      3. New, fabulous size 10 wardrobe
      4. Many great friends
      5. Confidence to do things I wouldn’t normally do

      That’s what I will be working toward though there are many more goals to add to these. Love. xxx 🙂

      What a brilliant idea!!

      THINGS I WANT TO DO
      1.Get thin!!
      2.Go to New York with my husband
      3.Find the magic remedy to stop siblings fighting (a concept I just can’t understand being an only child!!
      4.Join the local lifeboat fundraising guild and give something back to the community
      5.Try to find a bit more “me” time, even if it’s just 20 minutes a day (not likely but I can wish!!)

      THINGS I WANT TO BE
      1.Healthier and more able to run around and play with the kids
      2.More patient and understanding
      3.A qualified piano teacher, I’ve got grade 8 but, eventually, when I have more time, I would like to complete my teaching diploma and teach children piano.
      4.Richer – winning the lotto would suffice 😀

      THINGS I WANT TO HAVE
      1.A bigger bank balance!! with enough money each week to be able to say, right, let’s go out for dinner (once i’m thin of course and only healthy food lol)
      2.A grand piano, I’ve wanted one my whole life!
      3.A holiday EVERY year, or maybe 2!!
      4.More hours in the day so that I’d have quality time with the important people in my life.
      5.A speedboat, as we live by the sea, so that I could take the kids out fishing like I did as a child with my Uncle…. such wonderful memories..

      I have relly enjoyed this task… it has made me think a lot.

      Things to Do

      1. Stop lying to myself and telling myself that I am ok being “plus size”. I am not , it makes me sad some days and if I am to eb honest sometimes jelaus of other people.
      2. To be able to buy any clothes in any store rather – than Plus Size shops or going for the plus size ranges in shops.
      3. To love looking at the reflection in the mirror
      4. To be so happy when I hear the 1st compliment over how much weight I will have lost
      5. To enjoy life to the full

      Things I want to Be

      1. Healthier
      2. Happier
      3. Truthful to my self
      4. Smile and mean it
      5. To be the best person I can be. Patient ,kind, loving generous and thoughtful. All amazing qualities.

      Things I want to Have

      1. Go on a date and not be afraid to fall in love and to admit that sometimes I am lonely and it would be nice to meet someone.
      2. To be proud of myself and my achievements
      3. Fun and laughter every day in my life
      4. To have enough money to look after my sisters and take their worries and troubles away
      5. To be a very happy and healthy me! – it will be worth more than a Million euro

      Things I want to do!
      1- to find my true soulmate
      2- to loose all my excess weight
      3- to go on holidays in September with my parents and little brother
      4- learn how to swim
      5- pass my driving test before August

      Thinks I want to be
      1- a slim healthy fit person
      2- a good girlfriend/ wife/ mother
      3- happy with my life

      Hi super skinnies,
      Here’s my lists:

      Things I want to do:
      1. Be in photos with my family.
      2. Wear a bikini on holiday without feeling that I am offensive to others.
      3. Buy clothes I love! Not clothes that just cover me up and make me fade into the background.
      4. Go for a jog without feeling self-conscious of jiggly bits.
      5. Do new family photos, with our newest addition.

      Things I want to be:
      1. A size 10.
      2. A better, more active mum.
      3. Happy, confident in my own skin and comfortable in my clothes.
      4. A sexy, hot wife 😉
      5. One of the slim jims on nights out with friends.

      Things I want to have:
      1. A flat stomach!
      2. A bigger kitchen. (For making healthy meals in)
      3. A nice garden to enjoy my new slim in (sunbathing -if it is ever sunny!-and playing with the kids!)
      4. A sausage dog to take for long walks.
      5. Health for me and my family- the most important thing of all.

      So here goes…

      THINGS I WANT TO DO
      1.Grow old with my lovely new man of 3 years…love him dearly…he’s the one for me, just took me 44 years to find him 😉
      2.Having seperated and having to buy my ex out a few years ago, get my bloody mortgage paid off BEFORE I’m 70!
      3.Retire to somewhere hot like Spain, the Canaries etc
      4.Get my promotion in work
      5.Short term, find the funds to do some work on my house and garden

      THINGS I WANT TO BE
      1.Slim and healthy – goes without saying, thanks NY for getting me on the right path!
      2.Fitter – I need to do more exercise…I’m not good at this at all. Find it hard to get the motivation. My sister recently took up running and looks great, not to mention she is addicted to it, so I’d like to follow in her footsteps…litterally lol!
      3.A brilliant mum and wife
      4.Back in my Pole Dancing class…I used to do this about 4 years ago when I FIRST lost my weight. I totally loved it and never felt so fit and tonned. Too fat now to lift my arse up the pole, but I WILL get there in a couple of months and then, the Pole’s going up in the living room lol!!
      5.Better at saying NO when temptation comes my way and by that I mean NO to take aways, rubbish food, too much alcohol etc. I need to change forever, not just for now.

      THINGS I WANT TO HAVE
      1.A new car would be lovely, but I think it would be better to get on top of my credit card bill – oops! 🙁
      2.Smaller sized wardrobe, doesnt have to be size 10, so long as I look fab in whatever I wear and can show off my new figure well (when I get it).
      3.New deck on the house lol!
      4.Feck it, I’ll have the new car afterall 🙂
      5.A long and happy life with no more tears…

      Ok well it’s hard to choose from the gazillion things I wannna achieve but here it goes..

      THINGS I WANT TO DO

      1. Go on holiday this year, and for the first time ever, to just relax and enjoy myself and not be so conscious or worried about my weight or how I look to others!!

      2. To finally get married to the love of my life after being together for almost 8 years,…Preferably before I’m 35!!

      3.To prove to all the doubters that I can lose the weight!

      4.To prove to myself that I can do anything I set my mind to, no matter how impossible it may seem!

      5.Go back to College and my BA!!

      THINGS I WANT TO BE

      1. To be a skinny biyatch:-),..No but seriously a size 10 or even a 12 would be nice!!

      2.A mother. This is the most difficult one for me,.. I lost a child 6 years ago and haven’t been able to get pregnant since!

      3. Be a professional chef/ baker,… I have found this to be a great new way to enjoy food..instead of eating it all the time!!…oops

      4. Happy / Confident!!

      5. Liked, I want to be open to meet new people and for those people to look past the exterior and like me for me!

      THINGS I WANT TO DO

      1. I want to have my marriage blessed in church.
      2. I want to succeed in finishing my honours degree next year.
      3. I want to be able to go into clothes shops and boutiques and not have people stare as if to say we have nothing to fit you.
      4. I want to join the local gym again.
      5. I want to start volunteering at a day centre for adults with Autism.

      THINGS I WANT TO BE

      1. I want to be happy with my body and not feel shame at my size.
      2. The mum who is able to go on walks with her kids without having to stop due to pain.
      3. I want to be confident and carefree
      4. I want to be alive in ten year’s time (losing weight will be my lifeline)
      5. One of the people on the new you videos who has succeeded and kept the weight off

      1. I want to have a good job.
      2. I want to have my family happy and healthy around me.
      3. I want to have my figure back but also a better understanding of healthy eating.
      4. I want to have my family here for Christmas so that I can show them my new figure!
      5. I want to have pride in myself for what I have achieved and how I look.

      Firstly – THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I am really honoured and touched to have won the bundle prize – it really has kept me on track during such a stressful week (and I have been beaming in the office for the last few days lol) 😀
