Lynn’s Achievements on The New You Plan | VLCD
Lynn’s story is a true Cinderella fairy tale losing an impressive 3.5 stone in just 12 weeks which completely transformed her life. She dropped from 13.5 stone right down to 10 stone and she looks amazing! You can see this for yourself as she fits comfortably into a size 10/12 right down from the original size 16 / 18 that she was when she first started.
Lynn’s reasons for starting:
Lynn had lost weight on a VLCD programme before but due to returning to old habits she found the weight crept back on, it was based on a referral from her step mom that she joined The New You Plan. Lynn wanted to do this not only for herself but also for her son. She wanted to be able to do things as simple as jump on a trampoline and walk round the park with him. Then for herself it was all about being confident when she goes out and being able to live an active lifestyle.
Lynn’s advice to anyone starting out:
Keep it clear in your mind what you are trying to achieve – consider this in the larger perspective, make it about more than just the numbers! For Lynn it was to be able to run 10 k comfortably and to be able to climb a mountain – she has tick against both of these!
Keep busy and keep focused on why you want this. In a moment of weakness when you question why you are doing this, – you need to know the answers to these questions before any doubt can set in!
Benefits that Lynn has already seen on TFR:
Lynn says she sleeps better. Wakes up well rested and overall she has more energy to tackle day to day life.
Lynn’s Routine on our diet:
[box type=”info” size=”large” style=”rounded” border=”full”]1) She always picked porridge for breakfast as she felt it was a breakfast meal. She always had this at 8am and then tried to space her products 4 hours apart.
2) 12 noon she would have a bar purely because of the convenience.
3) 4pm a shake or soup
4) In the evening, Lynn would have a shake or soup again.[/box]
Lynn would stop drinking water at 7 in the evening so she knew she had to hit her target before then.
What part of The New You Plan made her Success possible:
Lynn feels that the Secret Slimmers is a pivotal point in her success on the diet as it meant that she was not isolated. There was always someone there to answer any question that needed to be answered.
Lynn’s advice regarding exercise:
Lynn’s big goal was to be able to run 10k. To do this she had to ease herself into this and used an app called the run 5k app to build her up. Once she achieved this she moved on and downloaded the 10k app and now it has become an ongoing part of her life.
Lynn’s advice to anyone starting out:
Go onto The New You Plan website and make use of the resources that are there. Lynn also stresses the importance of being clear in your own mind what you want to achieve and why you want to achieve it. This will answer the question if TFR is for you.
