New You Plan Customer Interview: Lynne Drops 3 Dress Sizes
For Lynne Brown, family is everything! She loves her 2 children and 7 grandchildren dearly and they play a massive role in her life. By day, she works at the NHS, and by night she runs her own tattoo and body piercing studio! She is also a civil celebrate, performing weddings and funerals. To say she is busy, is an understatement! The trigger to her weight gain was her divorce to an abusive and controlling man, combined with giving up smoking, which she replaced with eating.
This amazing woman has an incredible story to tell. In her New You Plan customer interview, Lynne shares details of what led to her weight gain and how the plan has given her newfound confidence, as she dropped from a size 16 to a size 10!
My New You Plan Customer Interview: I dropped 3 dress sizes and feel amazing!
Lynne, tell us about your weight and lifestyle before you started the plan
I weighed 12st 6lbs, was a size 16 and believe me when I say that I have tried EVERY diet there is out there. The trigger to my weight gain was going through a horrible divorce to a controlling man who was abusive. I also stopped smoking and replaced it with eating. At the time, I felt I had tried everything and just didn’t believe there was anything that was going to work for me. I felt I needed help with getting my mental state under control but didn’t know where to turn.
Tell us about when you started The New You Plan
I was on Facebook and an advert popped up advertising New You. I clicked on the link and read everything over and over again for days … It all seemed too good to be true. But I decided after reading the website that this sounded like an amazing plan and I had to try it. I wanted fast results and so Fast Focus seemed like the best option for me. Initially, I was on Total Food Replacement (TFR) for 2 months and I took a break over Christmas and New Year, at which time I had a few personal problems. During this time, I am pleased to say I’ve lost 2 stone 4 pounds, dropping from a size 16 to a size 10!
I feel amazing. I still have a little bit to go, but it has changed my life. I feel much more confident, much healthier and I can do more things than I could in the past.
The nicest compliment I’ve received since my weight loss was when I was out with my daughter (who is 33) and someone asked if we were sisters. Mmmmm…. Not sure if she was serious, but it was a nice compliment all the same!
What do you love about the plan?
What I love about New You is that there is always someone on the Secret Slimmers page to help, answer questions, support you through anything – even when it isn’t related to the plan. It’s like a big family.
I love so many of the meals – The Apple and Cinnamon Porridge is delicious – very filling and easy to make first thing in the morning. I also love the Asparagus Soup, which I can make at work with just boiling water. The Brownies are a life saver – imagine being able to enjoy chocolate and lose weight! Finally, the Vegetable Risotto is just to tasty. There really is something for everyone on this plan.
When it comes to staying focused, the competitions are great, as well as the communication with the other members, which helps you understand that you are not alone. The cheerleaders are so helpful and supportive. There is always someone on there to help.
Finally, what 3 tips would you offer someone thinking about starting the plan?
Read the comments on the Facebook page, message the people who have done the plan and lost massive amounts of weight, see the support that is offered. Why would you NOT choose New You?! It is now, it is current, it is amazing!!
