Even though you don’t appear to be losing any weight it does not mean that you are not getting rid of body fat. You may find that your clothing is still getting looser or even that you are getting more toned. You may also notice that you are feeling more energized and happier within yourself.

We can’t stress enough how important it is to stay consistent whilst on the diet, your weight loss may vary from week to week and some weeks will be higher/lower than others but YOU WILL GET THERE!

day 22 - 2

Here are a few pointers to guide you ever closer to your goals..

Take four products per day–  This will ensure you get your recommended daily amounts

Drink 3+ liters of water per day –this will keep you well hydrated and help your body metabolise your energy reserves. Please follow this link for tips on how to drink the recommended water intake.

3)      No nibbling – You would be surprised how such a small amount of something you would see as innocent could knock you out of ketosis.

4)     Going to the toilet regularly– If you are suffering from constipation, this can also be a cause of stopping or slowing weight loss. This can be helped by your Recommended water intake, remedies or Feiyan Tea.

5)      Water Retention – If you are not drinking the recommended amount of water, the body will retain what it gets and also if you have an infection the body requires water in order to fight it. Water retention can also occur in ladies around the time of a period.

The above are the most common causes but there may be other factors involved. If you are ever really then please seek medical advice.

It is important to remain strict with yourself and follow the recommended guidelines

And if you stay Focused and Motivated on YOUR ULTIMATE GOAL … YOU WILL GET THERE!!!

A lot of us that need to lose weight mostly want to be thin yesterday!!
It took a long time to put my weight on so i knew after the initial 7 pound loss in the first week on the plan it wouldnt all be a bed of roses at weigh in every week. firstly because im human and did fall of the wagon a few times, also totm would play a huge factor in determining whether the scales moved that week or not and also some days my water intake would not have been what i needed.. Along the way on my journey i have had weeks where i gained a few pounds (due to breaks) stayed the same for reasons above, or just lost a pound or 2 even though i had been 100 perc that week, the huge thing when this did happen was to not give up or blip but to keep focused and determined to reach that goal, i remember saying to myself from the beginning that i did not mind how long my journey took me once i reached my goal.. so my personal attitude is slow and steady wins the race, i know i am very determined and will get there. You have to be kind to yourself while on this journey and not compare your weight loss to other peoples, everyone of us is unique..At present im battling with my 3rd stone but i will triumph in this battle..xx

Firstly if I have a lower then expected weight loss then I usually check my measurements, as for me loosing inches is more important then loosing weight

Secondly it pushes me to work harder the following week
Every lb lost is a success, as long as the scales are heading in the right direction, it’s still a successful week

I planned my journey to be a long one, so I know I have a greater chance of succeeding, I’ve had weeks where I’ve only lost 1lb…. This week was one of them…. So next week I’m aiming to fit in a few extra walks, more water, and stick to just shakes, to see if I can balance it all out a bit

I sometimes have weeks when I lose a small amount or nothing at all!! It can get very discouraging for some people but I try to keep positive. Like last week, I only lost 2lb, not as much as I wanted but my clothes are loser and I have lost inches, so you need to measure yourself weekly as well as weigh ins. I know that I can lose a stone a month overall so I’m not worried if I lose a small number or nothing, I know that the following week it will pick up and I can lose 5,6lb. If you stick to your products only, drink the recommended amount of water, if constipated take something for it, the weight will come off, there is no other way. Don’t forget that if you are exercising you need to up your water intake and you might feel like you are not losing as much, but it will be coming off in inches more, as muscle weighs more than fat, you might be building up a muscle and losing fat, therefore becoming slimmer and more toned but scales might not show too much. Concentrate on how your clothes feel, that is always a good indicator. I’m hoping to lose a stone in this challenge and so far so good, I know that I am getting slimmer and I will fit into those smaller jeans! xx 🙂

Well this week i didnt lose any weight and i was gutted but i know i have Stuck to the plan 100%. I have tried to up my exercise so this could be why.

However i know what i need to do to get to my goal and that is not give up now. I promised myself i would complete this challenge and that is what i an going to do. Im certain next week will show my hard work on the Scales. Im the meantime i will continue as i started and focus on the end result.

I think we worry too much about the numbers. I get obsessed and jump on the scales several times a day. So much so I’ve asked my husband to hide the scales, along with my bars as I want to eat them all. I’m not going to weigh myself every week, I’ll do it fortnightly.
Try not to worry if your weight plateaus for a week or two, it will start again & you’ll notice the difference in your clothes.
So stay positive & project your mind forward to where you are wearing your fabulous outfit & feeling fantastic, go girls & boys xx

I have had a few weeks with lower than expected weight loss and although this can be disheartening you have to think of the overall weight loss, not just that week. When I get a low loss I just forget about it and don’t let it ruin my hard work. I focus on my next week weight loss and leave that one behind. I am now starting to not worry about what the scales say and are focusing on inches

my fourth week on the plan I lost 1lb, I was devastated even though I had a 15lb loss overall.i actually went on refeed as I felt the pla had stopped working! but having maintained that loss now since feb I know that the plan works!

so at the start of this week I felt bloated and yuk so I knew I needed to drink more water and exercise to make myself feel better until this initial feeling passed. im back drinking my feiyan tea.

I know this time round if I don’t get expected loss I need to loo at how I look and feel and remember that the plan does work and my body is a super fat burning machine when im on plan 100%

well week 3 weigh in is tomorrow for me, so far I have lost 13 lbs and 4 lbs so this week I have had a few blips, so I am not expecting a big loss tomorrow. for me I will know where I have gone wrong but on the weeks I will have been 100% I can honestly say I don’t know how I will feel? I do remember before I was inclined to throw in the towel and have done on many occasions, but I see the post of people with low weight loss and others been on track and lose nothing, reading all the encouragement they get I will know where to come if and when it happens to me. 🙂

I have had 2 weeks of low weight loss, my tips for others are

      1) look at the overall weight loss you have to achieve and the time you have given yourselves not just week by week.

      2) remember TOTM can play a massive part in low weight loss due to fluid retention etc.

      3) remember to drink at least 2-3 litres of water a day, lack of fluids will slow down weight loss.

      4) Don’t compare yourself with others on the plan, everyone’s weight loss is different and some people have more to lose and/or able to exercise more. Remember this is your journey.

      5) The weight loss can slow down and then increase at times on the plan, stick with it, don’t let the bad wolf in to put doubts in your head!!!!

      6) If you feel like you are weakening, go onto the SS group and get support from others.

I am talking from experience as I been there!

Good luck to each and every person on the plan, it is not easy but it will be worth it!
