Day 18- Baggy Clothes!

*Results may vary, this is not a guarantee.

I added some mushrooms and scallions to my chicken soup! It is fantastic! If you got it in a hotel, you wouldn’t complain at all. I am taking a bit of a break from the hot meals, so the soup with the mushrooms in is a great substitute.

I checked my BMI – it was originally 38.4 when I was at 268lbs, now I am 35.9 which is still in the Obese category. I will be delighted when I get down to a BMI of 30 – which is in another 40lbs. I like having lots of little targets in my head.

Remember I was telling you all about the Xmas cakes, well I bought all the stuff today, and was a bit overwhelmed! Who know raisins and sultanas were soooo expensive! I now have to make about 15 or so cakes.. I should of kept my mouth shut lol.. Because there is so much to do, I have invited my sister over for the weekend to give me a dig out! She can do the tasting along the way!

My clothes are swinging on me now! I used to wear casual shirts left open with a T shirt underneath. Now all my shirts are closing! I even put on a 16 inch collar shirt for work and the top button closed! I was previousily squeezing into a 17inch collar! Also, I feel a lot neater in my suit. I am not having to bring an extra shirt with me incase I burst into a sweat before a meeting or something. It is nice to be confident to take your suit jacket off in a meeting and know your shirt doesn’t have unsightly wet patches!

I am saving a lot of money on this plan I think! I used to eat out a lot and have drinks all every other day or so. I checked my shopping bill online and I was probably spending 170 euro a week on food and wine , and then about another 200+ euro a week on eating out and drinking! I know that is excessive , but I do work a lot, and always eat on the go, or have working lunches and stuff, so I guess I can write them of to tax right?? lol …Drinking in bars is really expensive too. When I lived in London it was much much cheaper. In Dublin it costs about 5-6euro a pint where I drink, and a glass of wine is 6 quid. I would easily been drinking far too much to even tell you how many! lol But I reckon I could of easily been spending 80-100 euro on drink alone in one night, and I would have 3 nights out a week.. Minimum.. (Oh jesus that sounds terrible when I write it down..) I still go out now, but my mates won’t let me buy into rounds because I am not drinking. I usually just buy one, and they buy me my fill of Bubbly water for the night.. So I guess that is fair enough. I do miss having a few drinks, but I don’t miss hangovers at the weekend! I think with the money I save I will put it off a new car as a Christmas Pressie to ME 😀

Cheers
