My Week 2 Weigh In on TFR!

*Results may vary. This is not a guarantee.

Hi everyone well can’t believe we have reached week 2 of January already. Hope you all had a great week.

I woke up with a terrible flu on the start of my week 2. And an old neck injury flared up to. I was so ill that I could not work this week.

Before if I had got ill and I was on a diet plan I would have given up. Any excuse not to stay focused, but this time it was different. I think it is because I have a different mind-set. If you are determined nothing will get in your way. I found that as I was sick I drank a lot of hot drinks like the hot raspberry flavouring and every day I had the veg soup and the broth a great way to keep warm and fill up. Amazingly this worked well, cause that was exactly what I needed and I didn’t take any medication except for my multi-vitamin pills,(but please check with your Doctor if you need medication).

The Power of feeling Good!

The reason I think I didn’t ‘go off’ my plan also was that because I was already in Ketosis my body also did not crave any foods. So the New You actually helped me through my sickness. Another major factor I noticed was that my mood had elevated even though I was really sick. This was very noticeable and I was very upbeat and happy. I have never experienced this before having flu I can tell you. I had more energy and even though I was sick in bed I was awake and reading longer in the night than I was when I was not on the plan. I used to fall asleep on the couch around 7pm when I ate unhealthily.

Just goes to show you only 8 days later on a New You plan and even my body stays awake longer!!!

I think that when I was eating the ‘wrong’ kinds of foods like white bread and drinking wine etc. that it actually slowed me down and made me tired all the time. But on the New You plan it uplifts you and gives you more energy and when things happen like an illness then this does not affect you cause your body is in a healthier state of Ketosis and you feel better.

I decided as I could not leave the house with my flu, that I would re-arrange my wardrobe.(Another thing I could not have done when I was ill in the old days)! I got out all the clothes that I love like my skinny jeans, tops and dresses that were too small, and I arranged them so they will be ready for my spring wardrobe. This is a great way to focus. As I should be at my goal weight by end of April (spring) I am keeping my end goal in sight everyday along the way. This really was fun, and I could actually ‘see’ myself wearing those clothes.

So although it has been a somewhat quiet week for me, I stayed 100%, thanks to the New you plan for helping to keep me there because the plan worked in conjunction with the elevated mood, more energy and being in Ketosis, which in turn helped me to stay on track.

So everyone, please stay strong, stick with this, and know you are going to be at your ideal weight and love the way you look and feel.
