REACH A GOAL AND TREAT YOURSELF

When you reach a mini goal give yourself a mini pamper

Here are my top tips for a little pampering at home –

 

 1.       BUBBLE BATH AND CANDLES  – Run a bath, of course with extra bubbles. Light some candles or incense, just relax and soak your troubles away. Then wash your body with some exfoliating gloves and your fav body wash! When you are done, dry yourself off and moisturize your body with some body butter/oil/cream, then get dressed in your most comfortable pjs.

 

2.       HOMEMADE FACE MASK – Pull your hair back off your face into a bun and put on a hairband.  Make a face mask of your choice. I tried this one –

1/2 mashed up banana with 2 tbs. honey. Leave on for 10-20 minutes. Then rinse.

Now wash your face with a great toner . Rinse well and pat dry. Moisturize

 

3.      NOW FOR YOUR NAILS – Clean and file your nails and paint them with your favourite nail polish! Leave it to dry

 

4.      HAIR MASK  –  Bananas make a wonderful hair mask when blended with an egg! Mix 1 banana with 1 egg, three teaspoons each of honey and milk, and five teaspoons of olive oil. Massage the mixture onto your hair and scalp and leave it on for a half hour before you shampoo it out.

 

5.       PEPPERMINT FOOT SOAK  – Add 5 peppermint teabags to a basin of warm water. Add half a cup of Epsom salts which is good to relax your muscles and you have a refreshing treatment for your feet! For added scent add 5 or 6 drops of lavender essential oil. Immerse your feet and enjoy!

 

6.       DVD/TV SHOW – Put on your fav TV show or watch a DVD and enjoy with a cup of tea and a New You bar! BLISS.
