Meet Our July / August 2026 Transformation Challenge Winners

£52,000 Transformation Story Challenge: Revealing our July/August Transformation Challenge Winners
Our July & August Summer Slim Down challenge has come to a close, and once again your stories have left us inspired, emotional and incredibly proud.
This round brought us journeys of every kind: overcoming anxiety and emotional eating, coming through grief, getting off crutches and morphine, and even running half marathons again. Each one proves that transformation is about so much more than the number on the scale.
Our four winners have collectively lost over 16 stone, and between them they’ve rebuilt their confidence, their health, their independence and their love of life.
Let’s meet the incredible women behind these transformations…
🏆 Overall Winner
Rebekka Rolfe £3,000 Winner! From Hiding in Hoodies to Loving Weigh Day Wednesday
Rebekka’s story is a powerful example of what happens when you stop using food to cope and start finding new ways to look after yourself.
Before starting the plan, Rebekka was living with severe anxiety and panic attacks, and food had become her way of coping. She was binge eating daily, suffering with horrific heartburn and reaching for Gaviscon throughout the day. The bigger she became, the more anxious she felt. She hid her body in oversized hoodies and felt embarrassed seeing people she hadn’t seen in a long time.
Rebekka started the New You Plan in January 2026 at 15st 12lbs. Today she weighs 11st 5lbs, an incredible 4½ stone loss. She’s already reached her original goal and has now set herself a new target of 11 stone.
The biggest change? Food is no longer her coping strategy. Rebekka has found other ways to manage her anxiety, and the results have followed:
- She’s back in her old clothes, with no more hiding in big hoodies
- She now drinks 3 to 4 litres of water a day, and her skin is glowing
- She’s working out five times a week, something she simply didn’t have the energy for before
- She no longer needs Gaviscon
And her favourite day of the week? Weigh Day Wednesday in our Facebook group:
“It is a really supportive Facebook group. Whether you’re having a good day or a bad day, everybody in the group is your biggest cheerleader.”
– Rebekka
Rebekka’s story is proof that when you change your relationship with food, everything else can change too.
🥈 Runners-Up
Kirsti Fitzpatrick £1000 Runner-Up! From Crutches & Morphine to Standing Tall
Kirsti’s wake-up call came at the end of January, when she spent three weeks in hospital with severe knee pain. She couldn’t bear weight, was told she would need a knee replacement within one to two years, and her consultant made it clear she needed to lose weight.
At the time, Kirsti was taking morphine five times a day, wearing a knee brace and walking slowly on crutches. She had to sit down to cook and wash the dishes, and relied on her partner to help her wash, dress and even get to the toilet.
She started the plan on 24th February 2026 at 27st 8lbs. Just six months later, she has lost an incredible 6st 1lb.
Today, Kirsti is off morphine, has virtually no pain and hasn’t worn her knee brace for months. She walks around the house unaided, stands to wash the dishes, gets in and out of the bath on her own, and enjoys walks with her partner and their little dog. Her size 32 clothes have all gone to the charity shop.
Kirsti got engaged to her fiancé Gary in December 2025, and she’s determined to look fabulous on their wedding day. Her goal is to lose another 8 stone and get back to the woman she used to be.
“I love this plan and it has changed my life for the better. Now I can stand up straight.”
– Kirsti
🌟 Jade Swain £1000 Runner-Up! Building a Life Her Body Can Live
Jade’s journey is about so much more than weight loss. For years, she felt her world becoming smaller and smaller. She was grieving the loss of her mum, and she now recognises how deeply that grief affected her health, her relationship with food and her ability to put herself first.
Her mobility had become extremely limited. Pain and fatigue meant that even ordinary outings needed careful planning: how far would she have to walk, would there be somewhere to sit, and how much pain would she be in afterwards?
Jade first tried the New You Plan in 2020 but wasn’t ready. In October 2025 she gave Total/Sprint a proper try, starting at 18st 12lbs. Even with health-related breaks along the way, she has kept coming back, and has now lost 3st 4lbs. In August alone, she lost 31lbs and 47.5 inches across the areas she measures.
The changes she’s proudest of won’t show up in a photo:
- She now exercises four times a week, including strength training
- She walked an amazing 28,000 steps in a single day
- She held a plank for 1 minute and 25 seconds
- She has left behind the “all or nothing” mindset that held her back for so long
Jade is motivated by the adventures she wants to share with her daughter, and by a future where her world keeps getting bigger.
“I’m not just trying to lose weight. I’m trying to build a life that I’m physically able to live.”
– Jade
🌟 Angela Moakes £1000 Runner-Up! “I Wasn’t Broken”: Running Free After 30 Years
Angela’s life before The New You Plan was full of restrictions she placed on herself. She turned down invitations, avoided going out, and constantly searched for clothes that would simply cover her up. Every diet she tried left her frustrated because nothing seemed to work.
Then one day she decided she wasn’t broken. A New You Plan ad appeared on Facebook, and she took the plunge.
Angela started on 22nd February at 12 stone. She has lost 2½ stone, reached her initial goal of 9st 7lbs, and is now continuing towards 8st 7lbs, a healthy BMI of 21.
After 30 years of being overweight, Angela has rediscovered her confidence and her love of clothes. Even more remarkably, she can now run at the same speed she did 30 years ago. She regularly enters half marathons and enjoys every single step.
“Sometimes I look in the mirror and say ‘Oo wow, is that really me!!'”
– Angela
Angela’s story shows that it’s never too late to feel free, confident and happy in your own skin.
Every one of these stories proves the same powerful truth:
