The Photo Challenge is BACK!!! 

In December we had a fun and motivating Photo Challenge, this was designed to help keep everyone on track and have a little fun around the festive period!!!

This Month we are focusing on loving yourself ????!! This Month there are a total of 11 Themed days!! 

 

The Challenge is so incredibly simple, all you have to do is look at the day, snap a picture, put it on Secret Slimmers and #LoveYourBody. Then you could be in for the chance of WINNING 1 Months worth of FREE TFR Products!!

The Dates and themes are as follows: 

3rd Feb – Set your goals for the Month:

What do you want to achieve in February? Setting yourself goals and targets is a great way to plan your month, it gives you something to work towards. It gives you a clear focus as you are able to set out your intentions and desires and achieve the things that you really want to!

5th Feb – National Doodle Day: 

Have you ever actually sat down and coloured in an image? It is so relaxing, you are spending your time focusing on this one thing, there are no other thoughts going through your head because you are concentrating on the picture. Colouring in is a stress free activity.

8th Feb – National Bubble Bath Day: 

Everyone loves a bubble bath – but did you know that there are a lot of health benefits from taking a bath?? Having a bath can Boost your brain power, having a relaxing bath with essential oils can do wonders for your body and mind. Another AMAZING thing about having a bath is that it can relieve stress, stress is a big factor in everyone’s life and taking a bubble bath could help you to release some of that tension, this ion turn could make the weight loss journey so much easier.

9th Feb – PANCAKE TUESDAY: 

Everyone loves our pancakes 🙂 not only are we having this Photo Challenge but we are also having a challenge within a challenge!!! A PANCAKE FLIPPING COMPETITION!!!!

All you have to do is take a video of you making and flipping your pancakes, then upload it to Secret Slimmers and #PancakeTuesday so your video can be found 🙂 Once this has been done your name will be entered into a prize draw and the winner is going to win 10 FREE Pancakes that will be shipped in your next order.

10th Feb – Ash Wednesday: 

Normally for lent you have to give something up, but we are going to flip it about a little bit and for this challenge you have to take something up, like a hobby, some exercise, we want you to do something at least twice a week that is going to make you happy, here are some examples below:

  • Walking – Relieves stress, keeps you active and it will help with your weight loss.
  • Socialising – Go and meet some friends for coffee, because you are dieting doesn’t mean you have to hide away until you are at goal. You can still enjoy yourself.
  • Start a journal – Document how your weight loss journey is going, how you are feeling, take pictures and save them so that you can look back on them.
  • Drink More water – The more you drink the more you shrink 🙂
  • Exercising – Take up a light exercise, go for a swim, go to the gym, start yoga or go to the play park with your kids or pets,  anything at all that gets you on the move.
  • It can be anything at all just as long as it makes you happy!

14th Feb – St Valentines Day: 

Whether or not you have a partner, husband or wife you should also spend the time on loving yourself! You are the most important person on this journey, yes you may be doing this to be more active for your family but how you feel is going to affect them more. Do you want to be the best you can be?? Of course you do!! Then this is the best time to start focusing on you!! Love is everywhere but self love is so important, it make you out to be the person that you are today. If you love your body, you will be more confident, more out going, you will also take care of it and stay in shape, now is the time to change how you feel about yourself. Put yourself first <3

 

17th Feb – Random Act of Kindness Day 

This is the most AMAZING day EVER! When you help others you actually help yourself, it gives you a sense of pride. There are so many benefits to helping other that in turn help yourself:

  • It increases happiness
  • It makes you feel generous
  • It makes you feel needed and effective
  • It makes you feel connected to others

There are so many ways to help a person:

  • If someone is feeling down or having a bad day, give them a call or send a wee message.
  • Help someone cross the road
  • Smile at someone walking past you
  • Be a volunteer
  • Make someone a cup of tea
  • Lt someone out in traffic
  • Give a compliment

Anything at all even if it is small thing to you it could be a big thing for someone else.

19th Feb – Pamper Yourself:

Do you ever actually treat yourself to a little pamper session? Getting pampered by someone is so relaxing, go and get your nails done and let someone else make your hands look pretty. If you don’t have time to go to a beauticians then do it yourself, get a face-mask on and get a hot steamy bath with some candles light and some relaxing music, all your stress will disappear, when you are out of the bath apply moisturising cream because when you are loosing weight this helps to keep the skin in shape. Do your nails and make yourself feel good. Getting pampered is a feel good thing to do. Go on try it 😛

22nd Feb – Buy Yourself Something Nice: 

When was the last time you bought your self some clothes that you felt comfortable in? When was the last time you bought something that made you happy? I cant remember the last time I did and it is a bad thing, you need to reward yourself with things that are going to make you happy and help you in one way shape or form. Go and buy yourself something that will make you smile from ear to ear 😀 Even buy an outfit that your think is gorgeous and get it in the size that you want to be and that will give you the determination and happiness that you need because you are working towards your goal 🙂

24th Feb – Get Your Hair Done:

Time to get the bop chopped, coloured, styled anything at all but make the point of getting your hair done as often as you can so that you are given that feel good feeling 🙂 I don’t know about you but when i get my hair done i feel like a new woman!!

29th Feb – Leap Year: 

This day only appears once every 4 years!!!! How about you plan something special?? I also know that it is the day that it is a traditional day for women to propose so go on girls, if he hasn’t popped the question yet go for it!!! Do something random that is going to make you happy 😀 😀 😀
