Tips:
As things start to warm up you may want to get more active, one thing that i think is really important when adopting an active lifestyle is to keep track of how far you have gone. Just like losing weight the numbers here matter as they can show you just how much you have achieved and help keep you motivated.
It was not to far off this time last year that I started training again and I found this app is really useful if you have an android smart phone. It keeps track of everything for you. Don’t let the name of the app discourage you, even if you just want to get into a bit of walking it will help keep track of how far you have walked on each outing and you never know the pace meter might just push you into doing something a little more… 🙂
In case you are an apple user don’t worry I am not going to judge! 😉 here is the link for the apple version of this too.
Tricks:
As things Start to warm up I want to start sharing more and more tricks to help keep your VLCD journey interesting. One of the things that you may want to try on a warmer day is a New You Smoothie! This is dead simple to make if you have a hand blender. Quite simply make your shake as you normally would but then at the end blend in some ice to make a thick creamy shake!
A little extra tip… if you are doing this with a chocolate shake you can add in a mint leaf or two to really mix things u a bit!
