5 Tips for Summer Dieting!!*

5 Tips for Summer dieting

 

Hey EVERYONE, from all of us here at The New You Plan we hope you are having an amazing summer. The Sunshine has put all of us in such a good mood and got us all into gear. We hope to do the same for you, in this blog we are going to talk about five things we think will make all the difference in your weight loss in the coming weeks.

 

Summer is the time of year when so many of us become more conscious of our weight. Here are 5 mainย  tips to help you make the
steps in the right direction.

1. Water intake… The first one we have for you is water… This is always at the forefront of our plan and is important in so many ways, a hydrated body performs best and will benefit you physically and mentally. We suggest having two to
four litres a day. Why not mix your water with some of our yummy flavourings, add some ice or change to some sparlkling water for a little change.

2. Summer Treats… The second tip isย  the small treats that help keep your moral high but don’t have any impact on your goals. For us it has been water flavouring ice pops, simply buy some ice lolly moulds and mix the water flavourings to water pour into moulds and let them set in the freezer. and vanilla and coffee latte, simply add a splash of coffee to your Vanilla shake and some ice ๐Ÿ™‚ The best treats are the ones that leave your conscience clear!

3. Exercise… The third tip is for keeping active. For so many these words raise fears of cycle machines and tread mills, but it is summer ๐Ÿ™‚ Keeping active is easier now, a leisurely walk with the dog, playing with the kids on the beach or doing that thing you have always
thought about it keeps you busy and active. Just like keeping hydrated, keeping yourself active will help with weight loss and
help keep your mind clear and focused. Having an active life style is something that I find self sustaining in that
the more you do the more you want to do!

4. Planning ahead… The fourth tip is to plan your day. This leads on from the previous tip in a way and if you have your day planed it is easier to ensure you have the time to stick to the plan, complete the things you need to do to avoid stress and ensure you get the all
important you time again were you can distress and reorientate your focus on your goals. Always have your products ready and an extra one just incase, go out to the zoo or the beach and ENJOY yourself :)

5. Picturing the Future… Our final tips is from our very own Lisa and is to PICTURE yourself at your goal weight, think of skimpy Summer clothes, skinny jeans and little sun dresses and BELIEVE you WILL be wearing them. Positive thinking is key to
success!….

REMEMBER dieting in the Summer can just be as exciting, think of all the lovely Summer dresses and outfits you could be wearing.ย  Keep it going and enjoy yourself along with your friends and family…. WOOHOO enjoy and think of your ultimate goal ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you are having a WONDERFUL Summer and enjoying all the lovely Sunshine we are being blessed with… Yayyyyyy ๐Ÿ™‚
