I wonder what Niall’s next 3 goals will be?
The great thing about setting goals, is that once you get the basics covered, by getting healthy and getting your home/car/basic job goals done, then you can move onto to set MORE GOALS! The only limits you have are the ones you give yourself.
I remember I used to always write out the same goals….. Stop Smoking, Stop drinking so much!, Lose Weight, Start My Own Business, Get my own Car, Find A Man! I failed at ALL of these many times by the way!!! But thankfully I never gave up, and one by one, I ticked them off! Last year I set some goals to travel and I achieved those too!
The great thing about losing weight is that it really sets you up for success in other areas of your life. Especially if your weight is causing you to have lack of confidence, energy or health problems. When you follow a total food replacement plan, your self belief in yourself just goes sky high, you say to yourself, if I can do this, I can do ANYTHING!
So today I challenge you to write down you top 3 goals.
1.)
2.)
3.)
Under each goal…
- Describe the goal in detail, be specific with what you want to achieve.
- What will it mean to you to achieve this goal? How will your life be better?
- Then list as many things as you can that you can do to bring you closer to your goal.
For example.
The Goal
1.) Lose 8 Stone
The Goal Defined
Losing 8 stone will bring me down from 18 stone to 10 stone. This will be me at my healthy BMI 25 and wearing size 10/12 clothes.
What this Goal means to you and to your life
Achieving this goal will totally change my life, I know I will wake up everyday and look forward to getting dressed and going out, I will do better at my job and have a more confidence and more chance for promotion, I will be a better Mum to my children as I will be able to play with them and crawl around in the adventure centre with them, I will be able to run in the park, I will be able to collect them from school and feel like a yummy mummy. I will be able to wear nice clothes and not stress out about going clothes shopping! I will be much more confident in my own skin and body and feel more attractive which will help me to get back into the dating scene again.
