Your Time To Shine
I posted a question in Secret Slimmers yesterday asking people what big event they have coming up that they are looking forward to.
I got LOADS of answers ranging from weddings to confirmations, to sun holidays!
I then encouraged our slimmers to KEEP these events in mind, picture themselves at the event slimmer and happier and don’t let anything get in the way of that vision!
I’m sure you have all (like me) attended a social event and gone through the chore of trying to find a nice plus size outfit. No matter what I wore I still felt uncomfortable. It’s so sad to think I spent most of my 20s living with that secret dislike for my physical appearance.
There is a way out! Nobody else can do it for you. You have to do this for YOURSELF!
I cannot stress enough how important it is NOT to put your weight loss journey on hold!! Do it now and in a few short months you will feel like a new person!
Perks of weight loss –
– Healthier
– Happier
– More energy
– Improves self-confidence
– People treat you differently (sad but true)
Downfalls of being overweight –
– Unhealthy
– Dangers to heart, blood pressure, etc.
– You feel down, self-conscious, uncomfortable
– Relying on food for comfort
– Makes walking/running a chore (breathlessness)
– People can pass hurtful comments
All of the things I have listed aren’t what every overweight person feels, this is just outlining my experience.
So by losing weight you have everything to gain and nothing to lose except LBS!!
If you long to be a healthier slimmer you then DO IT!
It is within your reach! All you have to do is stick to the plan, simple!!
Get focused on your goal, and do everything in your power to reach it!
Time is going to pass anyway so you may as well be doing something with that time!
