February Love Theme: Work Out
Movement is a key part of a healthy lifestyle. If you want to live a long healthy active life, then you need to get active now.
I think a lot of us can get overwhelmed at the thought of getting active, especially if we are quite sedentary.
Did you know that a sedentary lifestyle is when you walk less than 6000 steps a day as average?
If you are living a sedentary lifestyle the first step towards getting active would be to simply just set the goal of getting over 6000 steps a day.
Rather than hitting the gym, you can get these steps in throughout the day, just by being more aware of how you can move more in every day life. This is called increasing your Non-exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT).
I have been following Peter Attia for a couple of years now, he focuses on longevity and puts out some really useful and interesting content about fasting and exercise with the aim of living a longer healthier life.
In one of his recent videos he shares his exercise framework for longevity. It is just 2 minutes long and I highly recommend you watch it.
