I lost 8lbs my first week which was amazing im a slow loser my tips for the first week is to plan your evenings the busier you are the first days and more distracted are the less you think about food once your iver the first week you will be flying on dark days just remember why you started and where ubwanna be it will help and rant in secret slimmers its the best tool for weight loss dunno if I would still be doing it without the support of the group 😀

moring ellie and grant i love seeing your smiling faces every morning, i lost 13 lbs on my first week,anyone starting the plan you will not regret a single minute,use all the tools available fron new you, plan out your 4 meals every day allow for emergiencies by always having a shake or a bar in the car that way if you have to dash out you will not miss a meal,the blender bottle is a godsend simply pack you shake pack into it carry a bottle of water and you are ready to shake and go.use ss its a lifeline and great fun too oh and remember to sip sip sip as THE MORE YOU DRINK THE MORE YOU SHRINK have a great day everyone loving the tees ellie and grant x

Hi – my first week weight loss was 11lbs. My advice to anyone starting off this week is to give it 100%. Clear your diary and go for it – 100% for 7 days will give you a fantastic result and motivate you to do the next 7 days. Take it one day at a time and before you know it you will have completed 7 days. Jen

Hi, I lost 8lbs in my first week. Its so tempting to blip, which I did. but once I got on the scales and saw my loss I know I will not blip again, because I want to continue to lose. Keep focussed on your weight loss, keep a picture handy of what you looked like before you started. If that’s not enough motivation, keep busy.

My advice would be no matter how hard the first week is stick it out it gets so much easier & so worth it! Once the weight starts coming off ull be addicted to losing the weight I know I am 🙂 x

i lost a staggering 20lbs my first week .
my advice to anyone starting week one is , drink at least 3 litres of water per day , stick with it when you go through the headachy , lethargic few days because after the first week it gets much easier . use the support of the ss group – they have all got me through that first week .

I lost 4lbs in my first week! It took me six weeks to lose a stone.
Advice first week – clear the kitchen of unmentionable food if you can. Get the water flavourings to help with water intake. Have snacks if you need to rather than blip.

I lost 10lb the 1st week. I was totally amazed and so proud of myself for sticking to the plan & that just made me carry on and 8 weeks later I’m still going strong. Love it. Xx

I lost 9.75lbs in my first week. I just kept focused, took it a day at a time and kept telling myself that once the 1st week was over it would get a bit easier. I kept thinking about all the lovely clothes I’ve got in my wardrobe that I want to wear again and also I’m working toward a holiday in October and really want to be at least 4 stone lighter by then.
So when it starts to get too difficult I’ll have an extra shake or bar rather blip! Drinking plenty of water also helps a lot and can stave off the hunger pangs and I keep telling myself ‘I CAN DO THIS’

In my first week i lost 8lb. I was amazed and overjoyed. I did find the first days hard but by day 5 things seemed easierx i would therefore advise anyone startung the plan to not give up, push through the hard days to get the benefit of ketosis. You need the first week to be successful,to feel the excitment and be amazed what you can acheive. Its important to take one day at a time, and use all the advice and services on offer, dont make it harder than need be, enjoy.

Week one I lost 6lbs which was more than I expected and had lost on any other diet. Personally I found keeping a daily check on the scales helps, I do this every morning before hitting my wii fit for yoga, its my little woohoo to set me up for the day. I need it working in a food shop is tough enough without being on a diet so going to work knowing what I have lost for both the day and week is a boost and somehow I manage to ignore the fact I’m surrounded by all this food. The trick is know exactly why you are doing this if you have to place reminders around your home and workplace. Stay focussed dont get bored keep yourself or your mind busy! Walk, exercise, read (exercise that brain too), watch a movie or go to bed early whatever you do you’ll still be losing weight but your why is your biggest motivation be it health, kids, to fit nicer clothes or find love. Do it! Keep doing it! Focus your mind to the task and work everything around it. Don’t back down for anyone, only share what you’re doing if you feel comfortable to and don’t let anyone try to change your mind, and if they do or you feel down join me and all the other ss brothers and sisters we’ll help you get yourself back! I am now into week 9 and have lost 2 stone I couldnt be happier or healthier, and I’m loving going shopping looking at the sorts of clothes I’ll buy when I get down another 1-2 stone. I’ve already started making clothing wishlists 🙂

I lost 6 pounds during my first week with New You .. In the end I lost 98lbs 🙂 and changed my life .
My tips to anyone new starting the plan are
Take one day at a time, one hour at a time if you need to
Drink between 2.5 and 4 litres of water a day , just build it up day by day it can be a struggle .
Take your 4 food packs and space them out throughout the day.
Keep coming onto Secret Slimmers for inspiration and support .

My first week on New You I lost 7 pound, the first 3/4 days were the hardest, my body was under a major carb and sugar detox and I was feeling mighty sorry for myself and even with the motivation at its highest, we should never underestimate the power of the craving for bad foods,as it at times was overwhelming not to give in, but with the help of all the other ladies and gents on secret slimmers I kept going against all the odds and kept telling myself in a louder voice than the cravings that I wanted to be slim because I was worth it!! 56 pounds later and now settled into my second phase I’m so glad I stuck with the plan..
Be organised for your first week, drink plenty of water, keep focused take before photos and measurements (They will be an invaluable visual in the course of your journey to see how far you have come)
Do not be a slave to the scales, let your clothes be the decider in how well your doing!!
Relax enjoy the journey and most important DO NOT compare yourself to anybody else we all lose at different paces, accept your journey for what it is YOURS!!
If you do fall off the wagon, ok it’s not the end of the world just jump back on and continue, you will be so glad you did… Good luck to everybody starting this week, I can honestly say it’s the best decision iv ever made .. XX

I lost 11.7lbs on my first week. I was thrilled. I took it one hour at a time the first day, then one day at a time. I planned what I was having and when and had plenty of water everywhere. 🙂

On my very first week of new you I lost 15lbs. I was that shocked I got on and off the scales ten times and changed the battery in them too because I really thought they were lying to me but nope. After a month of more blips than successes I am firmly back on the wagon and am sending this at 1 am ( because my bladder has just woke me 😉 lol ) so this is my week one AGAIN and tomorrow is day 4 and I’m chuffed to bits with myself. This time I’ve taken a different approach and I’m finding this now a whole lot easier. Turns out… Shock horror!!! I didn’t know best!! I wasn’t getting everything from the programme I could have been. My advice for week one. Follow the kick start 7 days motivation. Fill in your journal and download everything. I have found having my mind really focused and not feeling like I’m depriving myself but that I’ve made a conscious decision that I want this in my life has me not even considering falling off the wagon. Trust me, usually by this stage I would have sneaked something or convinced myself. ” I’m not that bad” the wagon would have been minus all it’s wheels and possibly in flames. I am that bad and I need to do this for me….
