Not frazzled, not fraught, no snapping and not as though a tornado has whipped through the house. Is that even possible?!?
Getting up when the alarm goes off, to be more awake and not to feel rushed! Hate feeling threw together in the mornings. And to be early for work instead of running late ALL the time.
Relaxed, time for mindful movement stretches and everything organised and ready for the day…. And if the sun can be shining even better!
I would love my morning to be happy and care free with a great routine.
I would love to read this book as I am returning to work next week after being off ill for nearly a year. I am going back into a new job as I cannot medically return to my old one. I lived in fear of going to work every day for many years, but would love to turn this around with a new start and I am sure this book would help enormously. I have a massive challenge coming up… Fingers crossed x
I would prefer my morning to include some Me time before the baby wakes, ideally weights or some tummy excercises, prepping for dinner for family (I say I will do this every morning), Cuppa of green tea, prepare lunches for family, sit and relax before the alarm goes off…. One day I will do this 🙂
I never need an alarm as my body always wakes me up on time, like magic. I like to have about 2 hrs before I need to be working to sit and have my coffee and catch up on all the New You chat. Breakfast after I’ve been up about 45 mins then another coffee.
Now this is when things start going badly………I don’t leave myself enough time to get washed, dressed and make up! So my last half hour is usually a mad rush and I’m out the door feeling stressed with all that lovely chill time out the window! So my #morning challenge is to give myself less coffee time and more getting ready time so I can be ahead of myself all day instead of rushing around like a mad thing! 😁☀️
I’m sort of early retired but that doesn’t mean I should not make an effort!! I may work again in future so…
Don’t lie on too long
Do read Julz’ good morning advice…and Tasha’s!
Jump out before 9am and get ready for an early morning walk.
Have a pfb to start the day NY style…
Enjoy the new day.
Every day is a new adventure now!!
I would like my morning to be on schedule, relaxed for me and the kids, very positive and optimistic that good things are about to happen, also that I will have a 100% day, and fit in and exercise session early ☀️🌈⛅️
I am usually awake before alarm goes off. Lately I’m starting to dose offer for about 1 minute after. Cannot know why I’m doing that now. I’m so afraid one morning I’ll dose on too long 😠😴
Feel less anxious, be positive about the day ahead , make time to do ( brush ) hair and put make up on to make myself feel better – I’ve been more of a slummy mummy than a yummy mummy lately !
Rested ( 6 month old!), organised (breakfast, kids lunches etc), ideally some exercise to start the day and finally being able to pick out an outfit that fits easily and face whatever the day brings rather than just throwing on the same old frumpy stuff day in day out.
I’d love my mornings to be calm and without the need to push the kids to get ready for school. Ha, ha! My mornings are actually fairly calm already, I’m a morning person anyway! I get up with my alarm, shower & start drinking my water. It’s just the nagging of the kids that gets me. They are up in plenty of time, they just get distracted or decide to bicker! If we had more rooms in the house they’d have a bedroom each, but as it is they share!
Once everyone is dressed we go downstairs, the kids have their breakfast & I have a green tea. Then we are out the door around 8.15 for the walk to school.
Before new you, and the new me, it was very different! I never walked anywhere for a start. Now I love the walk to school as the kids tell me all sorts of things I probably wouldn’t know about and the walk back to pick up the car and go to work clears my head and gives me some quiet time before the working day begins.
My mornings start with my much needed coffee after that sort little girl out for school then drop her off to school then I like to do everything in the morning time.
Would love my morning to be calm and stress free like it is in my dreams. That will come too in time.
Relaxed and organised (if only hubby could help out more!).
Would love to be able to just jump out of bed and get on with it but sometimes I just need ‘another 5 minutes’!
Id love to get up and go without needing a litre of the strong black stuff to get me revved. I love coffee and have been told I’m a snob because of my preferred blend but I’d love just to enjoy it not need it! I am a snoozer and need to break the habit.
Where I’m moving to in a few months… miles & miles of land, nature, plants & animals 🙂
I would like every morning to be a Sunday morning. Waking up at my own leisure, no alarm, no rushing…pure bliss. An added bonus would be for the sun 🌞 to be shinning too 😊

Full of positive anticipation for the day ahead
