Overall Winner- Natasha Lost 5st 3lbs* & Won £3000 Cash

From Rock Bottom to Sky High: How Natasha Transformed Her Body, Mind & Confidence
After a difficult moment with a photo that stole the joy from a precious memory, Natasha decided it was time to take control. What began as a painful wake-up call has become a powerful transformation journey – one that’s brought confidence, energy, joy and connection back into her life.
She’s now the overall winner of our May/June Transformation Challenge, £3000 richer, over 5st lighter and we couldn’t be prouder.
In this inspiring interview, Natasha opens up about the emotional turning point that led her to join the plan, her incredible mindset shift, and the beautiful non-scale victories that have completely changed her life.
“I Needed to Make a Change – And That’s What I’ve Done”
Emma: So firstly, Natasha, how much weight have you lost, and what is your overall goal?
Natasha: So I’m not certain of my overall goal just yet. Because I’m quite short, my healthy BMI weight is really low. It’s just under 10st. So I think I’ll probably aim for there eventually, but at the moment, I’m just happy with the progress I’m making. Just under half a stone to go as of this morning. So, yeah, going in the right direction, definitely.
Emma: Amazing. Well done. And what originally led you to starting the plan, and how were you feeling when you did begin?
Natasha: I was really excited to start. I’ve tried other diet plans previously with varying success. But over the last probably two years, I had my gallbladder out in 2023, and I realised I could eat whatever I wanted again. I didn’t get any symptoms like I used to, so I just did.

Then it got to the point where in February, there were some photos taken of me that I really, really detested. There’s one I haven’t even shown to my husband. A couple of friends have seen it – it was from a meet-up with friends I hadn’t seen in ages, and it should have been a joyous thing. But I saw the picture, and it just ruined the memory for me. It sent me into a bit of a spiral, and I knew I needed to change.
I’d started saying no to socialising and doing things with the children. And I just thought – it’s not fair. I needed to make a change, and that’s what I’ve done.
“I Was Skeptical… But It Just Worked”
Emma: How did you feel when you recently found out that you were a winner?

Natasha: I was shocked, to be honest. I went back to my desk about fifteen minutes later, and I was still shaking. Just really, really grateful. I didn’t expect for a second to win, but I thought – you miss all the shots you don’t take. That was my attitude. I just thought, give it a go and see what happens. I’m so grateful.
Emma: How did your first week on plan go?

Natasha: I’m not a particularly fussy eater, but I’ve never really liked milkshakes – so I was really surprised how much I liked them. And all the meals, to be honest. I was skeptical, but I placed another order by the end of my first week. That’s how well it went. I shocked myself with my commitment, too. I knew this was going to be the time it would work.
Emma: Any low points in that first week?
Natasha: I’m typically a migraine sufferer, but I haven’t had one since I started the plan. I had a bit of a headache yesterday, and one on day five, and again around week three – but no migraines, which is crazy.
End of week two, my husband had a rare Saturday off. We went out for the day, and I brought a meal pot, a shake, and a bar with me. I thought I’d just sit while they went out for lunch – but then my husband asked if I wanted to go for a walk instead of sitting at the table. That was the first time I knew he really understood what I was doing.
He’s so supportive. He tells me how proud he is of me. I expected to feel like I was missing out, but I really haven’t. Even when the kids have a treat or ice cream, I’ll have a shake. I don’t feel like I’m missing out at all.
“I’m Just Into Everything Again”
Emma: How has your life changed so far?

Natasha: Thankfully, I’ve never really had major health issues due to my weight, but I did have sore knees and joints, and that’s eased off so much. I’ve gone from averaging under 2,000 steps a day to nearly 12,000. I did my first Parkrun on Saturday – it wasn’t quick, but it was seven minutes faster than I was expecting!
I’m planning to do Go Ape with my twins in the school holidays. I’m so much more active now. I actually enjoy spending time with my children and playing with them. I had serious mum guilt before for not wanting to go out and do things, but I’ve let go of that. Now I go for a walk most evenings – it helps clear my head. I’ve started listening to music again too. Before, I just didn’t feel like doing that. I’m just into everything again. It’s amazing.
Emma: What has the plan taught you?
Natasha: Portion sizes!! I didn’t realise how little I actually needed to eat. We’ve gone out for meals, and I’ve realised I’m satisfied with just a kids’ meal – I was eating the same size as my two-year-old!
And I love how you can adapt the products to make them fun – like making ice-cream with the Shakes. And how satisfying the meals are!
“I Feel Like a New Person”
Emma: What meals or snacks can’t you live without?

It changes every week! But the Banana Shake – I couldn’t do without. I love mixing the Risotto and the Indian Daal together – it makes a really filling meal. The Spaghetti Bolognese is amazing. The Chocolate Peanut Bar is incredible. But my favourite bar is actually the Muesli Bar. I love the white chocolate yoghurty bit around the edge and the little fruit hint.
Emma: What are you most looking forward to when you reach your overall goal?
Natasha: I’m planning an indoor skydive! And I’m going to buy myself some roller skates – something I’ve wanted for ten years. My mum and my husband both said no before, but they’ve now agreed because my knee is better. They’re like, “Okay, go for it.”
Emma: Is there a memory or compliment that sticks with you on this journey?

Natasha: This morning, my toddler looked at me and said, “So beautiful,” which was really cute.
A few weeks ago at work, I saw a colleague I hadn’t seen since December, and she just said, “You look different. You became slim.” I didn’t know how to take it – but it was so lovely. And in the supermarket, my friend’s husband said, “I must say, you look very slim lately.” Compliments still scare me a bit, but I’m starting to get used to it.
Emma: What’s your favourite non-scale victory?
Natasha: Just getting out and doing stuff. I enjoyed soft play for the first time ever! I did fall down a pretty big slide racing someone – but it was the first time I ever had fun at a soft play centre.

Also, being able to wear clothes without an “X” in the label. Clothes that didn’t fit before now fall down! 6 years ago, it took me a year to lose 3st. This has just been incredible. I feel amazing.
“I Would Just Tell Myself That I Can Do It”
Emma: If you could go back to Day 1, what advice would you give yourself?
Natasha: Just believe in yourself. I’ve been 100% committed since Day 1. I haven’t deviated at all. Even on refeed, I stuck to under 1200 calories, stayed away from too many carbs. I was scared I’d go crazy and undo everything – but I didn’t. I realised I have control. I can do it.
